For an adult the fare is £7.50. That is for a one way ticket. You would most probably like to buy a return ticket. The price for an adult return ticket is £11.50 One adult with one child (max. 15 years old) return ticket is £13.50 For a family of two adults and two children, a return trip is £27 and for every additional child you pay £3. Children from 0-3 years travel free. Senior citizens have a bit of a discount of £1 less than the adult fares. You can buy a ticket online, or do what I did: just get in the train and pay in cash.

Both main stations and platforms are accessible by wheelchair, as is the train. The platforms and carriage floors are at roughly the same level, and the guard will provide a short ramp to bridge the small gap. We can take up to two wheelchairs on each train. Unfortunately the toilets cannot be accessed by wheelchairs due to the configuration of the original buildings.

Our main station at Llanuwchllyn is the one with the café and shop where you can relax under cover (if it is raining) waiting for the train. All trains have closed coaches so you won't get wet if the Welsh sunshine pours down Hope that helps Tim
