Cây Cô Đơn tại Tà Xùa là một địa điểm lí tưởng cho những ai yêu thích ngắm nhìn vẻ đẹp hùng vĩ của thiên nhiên. Vì là một địa điểm còn khá hoang sơ nên đường đi tới nơi này cũng có chút hiểm trở. Để có thể phát triển hơn nữa nền du lịch ở Tà Xùa thì việc nên đầu tư hơn nữa vào cơ sở hạ tầng là một việc hết sức cần thiết.
Tại đây là địa điểm tham quan tự do không mất phí, khung giờ đẹp nhất để check-in sẽ rơi vào khoảng 5h sáng đến 6h sáng và 5h chiều đến 6h chiều. Xung quanh là khu đất trống và không có khả năng trú mưa/nắng. Cây mọc tại khu vực đồi dốc nên cần cẩn thận khi di chuyển.
Tại đây là địa điểm tham quan tự do không mất phí, khung giờ đẹp nhất để check-in sẽ rơi vào khoảng 5h sáng đến 6h sáng và 5h chiều đến 6h chiều. Xung quanh là khu đất trống và không có khả năng trú mưa/nắng. Cây mọc tại khu vực đồi dốc nên cần cẩn thận khi di chuyển.

Người ta gọi là săn mây Tà Xùa, chúng thôi thích gọi là “chơi mây” hơn. Đến Tà Xùa là để vờn sương nghịch gió, bay bổng cùng mây, ngây ngất giữa nhịp thở thiên nhiên và tận hưởng những giá trị thanh tao nhất.
Tà Xùa là đỉnh núi cao thứ 10 của Việt Nam có độ cao 2.650m, nằm trên dãy núi Tà Xùa gồm 3 đỉnh núi là ranh giới tự nhiên của 2 tỉnh Yên Bái và Sơn La. Được coi là thiên đường mây gió, Tà Xùa mùa này đang quyến rũ vô cùng nhưng con tim mê xê dịch. Hồn chúng tôi chạm Tà Xùa như những kẻ hay mơ bỗng gặp được nàng thơ lộng lẫy. Bởi Tà Xùa khi đẹp huy hoàng, khi yểu điệu lả lơi, khi say đắm với cuồn cuộn mây sóng. Với mỗi không gian và địa điểm khác nhau, Tà Xùa lại chuyển mình thay đổi.

Наверное один из немногих кусочков Вьетнама, куда не добрался массовый туризм!!! Очень красивые места, отличные люди !!! Очень круто побывать на хребте динозавра!!!

I'm a solo traveler.I rent a motor bike from The November hostel (the staff and the owner are friendly and helpful, they let me took a shower when I'm back from Ta Xua and help me book a van back to Hanoi) at Moc Chau.After that, took a little walk to see sunset.The moment I reach that point, it was an incredible scenery and breathtaking.
Next day, because of Chinese New Year, I'm not able to hire local motor bike driver,so I drive alone to Dinosaur backbone on 6am although I'm not able to see sunrise but safety first. Please be careful as the road,it is bad and rocky and worst than the road to drive up from town to Ta Xua peak. When I the end of the Dinosaur backbone, it's feel like you step on the cloud and you only can see it without physical touch. It's really amazing. There have a small stall and selling some snack and instant noodle. You can enjoy it with such spectacular view with your food. I'm glad I'm be there once and thanks god for giving me such good weather during my stay because I have been told he went to Ta Xua for 3 times but still unable to see the sunrise due to bad weather.
Tips:
1. Don't miss the sunset, personally like sunset scenery more than sunrise.
2. Suggest don't go to the Dinosaur backbone after 10am, because you won't see anything except fog.
3. Suggest don't go when Chinese New Year, local people is busy packing plum tree and deliver to town for
selling.
4. Highly recommend drive a semi auto bike

私は2019年5月の初旬にバイクのソロツーリングでHa noiからYen baiのNghĩa LộとTrạm TấuそしてSơn LaのTà Xùaを経由してHa noiに戻りました。前の投稿にもありますがTrạm TấuからTà Xùaへの道DT112は、かなり危険な道でした。Google mapのナビゲーションではこの道に誘導されますが道路は荒れておりオフロードバイクの私でさえローギアーで冷や汗の連続でした。車が通行できるような道ではありません。引き返すことさえ困難な場所が数多く存在します。私は雨の中この道を走りましたが山中で、すれ違う人やバイクはありませんでした。 もしこの道を計画に入れる場合はオフロードバイク（2人乗りは危険です）を使い十分な時間的余裕と安全な服装、修理道具を持参した方が無難です。 但し悪いことばかりではなく、準備を怠らなければこのコースでは素晴らしい景色を見ることができます。私が訪れた時、Ta xua Peak自体は雲の中にあり残念でしたが機会があれば再度訪問したいと思える場所です。

I have been there, although it was not as good as I expect (not much cloud to hunt) but the view is still breathtaking.
My trip was quite easy:
1. Ha noi - Moc Chau (by Pumpkin Limousine service, top notch)
2. One day at Moc Chau
3. Moc Chau - Bac Yen (by private car, around 110 km)
4. Bac Yen - Ta Xua (by motorbike 14 km, there is a Yamaha service center right at the intersection to Ta Xua, you can rent bike there for VND 200,000)
5. Stay at Ngong Hostel (reasonable for VND 80,000/night)
6. Hostel to Hang Dong (by bike 13 km, you have to leave around 04:30 am to reach there by sunset, the road is not in good condition)
7. Enjoy the view.
Cloud hunting is the purpose but enjoy the adventure even more worthy, I was not so disappointed as there was not enough cloud but who care, the landmark also very stunning too. However, if you already been to Ha Giang - Dong Van trip, you might find it is quite similar.

Lặn lội thức khuya dậy sớm để ngắm mây Tà xùa. Bạn cố gắng đi về phía Háng đồng thì biển mây sẽ rõ ràng hơn. Bạn có thể di chuyển từ Hà Nội và ở lại trong vòng hai ngày là vừa đủ. Nên mang theo tripod để săn ảnh mây và bình minh nha bạn. Có nhà nghỉ và homestay để bạn lựa chọn.

Can you send Folsom where a good starting and ending point would be for this hike? We would optimally like this to be q day trip if possible - spend a few hours going and stay the night in town then leave the next morning for sapa. Any advise is welcome

I rent a semi auto bike in Moc Chau and drove to Ta Xua peak. As there is hardly to get a transport from Sapa to Son La town, so I went back to Hanoi first then went to Moc Chau by bus.

It's free you can get there by mortorbike and then enjoy a trekking up to the peak. It's still free for now
