In my defence, it wasn't my intention to visit the place.
We had a stopover just across the Building and I was thinking how old it was. Of course, its the Mayor's building and I was looking at it when one of the local was chatting to my friend and he mentioned we can go visit inside right now, cause its open.
At first, getting inside the Municipal building, well who are we to refuse the offer.
We look like foreigners, we aren't bringing a bomb, we just really wanted to get inside and see what inside the place looks like.
Its funny how people were looking at us and our shabby clothes. We smiled and we passed.
Inside on the 2nd floor, were artifacts on display. I only see them on tv or well, i've never seen at all. so I can't describe them properly.
It was things use in everyday life by locals back in the days and pictures of criminals on the wall with their crimes. I had my mouth open with the crimes they did do and didn't do. and Cybercrime wasn't a thing back in the days, and I can't believe I'm saying this but drugs weren't a thing either. God bless your soul.
Imagine having no internet, no car, no airplane, no guns, no bombs, no hightech swish and wosh. What else can you commit but to do that.
How bored can you be.
Anyway, if you're really curious what kind of tools our ancestors used back in the day, you may like to visit the place.
There are some tools made in the modern age, they tried to recreate the past and it still memorable & remarkable to acknowledge how people live back in the days.

On the second floor of Dalaguete's Municipal building is a delightful museum with many interesting artifacts both natural and man-made. The museum boasts items from the townsfolk which include antique dress and furniture to modern day crafts. For example, you will see examples of baskets woven to catch bait fish. They also have very old mortar pestles, sewing machines and rice harvesters. I was intrigued by the artifacts from the Japanese occupation. What makes the museum are the knowledgable and friendly docents, who are happy to provide an impromptu tour of the museum. Be sure to stop by and check out the other interesting offices in the building. There is a ceremonial courtroom, the mayor's office (stop in and say hello) and downstairs at the police station is a display of all of the criminals who have been arrested (plus a description of their crimes). Also on the first floor is a job training area where you can observe trainees for a sewing factor learn their trade. Fascinating!!!
