Sono stato a koh lanta dopo aver visto foto su internet. Sembrava un bel posto con mare bello e invece una delusione. Mare brutto, spesso bassa marea e non abbiamo mai fatto un bagno. L'unica parte bella è il parco nazionale che però è a pagamento. La sera la noia totale, non c'è nulla e pochissima gente. Anche i classici mercatini thailandesi deserti per via della poca gente. Sconsiglio questa isola della Thailandia!

Your hotel will organize tours for you or you can contact them yourself. we went in low season and ended up doing 3 islands instead of four because the weather. We also did a full day kayaking tour which was real fun. We went to Ko Lanta during the low season..

Belle spiagge, isola da non perdere. Da girare in scooter o auto per vedere tutte le spiagge. Alcune con ristorantini molto romantici. Tramonti molto suggestivi. Ristoranti con cucina molto buona e poco costosi. Fate il tour delle 4 isole, con ottimo snorkeling, perché koh lanta non ha coralli. Consiglio anche il tour della laguna in barca

We picked up the boat at the Old Town in Koh Lanta. The guide took us to the National Park at the tip of Koh Lanta to see the lighthouse and then to the island of Koh Por where her mother made coffee for us and gave us cake. then onto the Koh Bubu, where we had lunch in the cafe and swam on the beach. We were almost alone on the island. As the afternoon came to an end we were delivered to Old Town Koh Lanta where our driver was waiting to bring us back to our accommodation. And all for 1000 bhat per person. A wonderful day.

if there's a chance you would like to travel along Koh Lanta, for caving or jungle trekking, NEVER miss Mai Kaeo Cave located in the center area (nearing Klong Nin Beach) of Koh Lanta!
me and my friend booked Lanta Palace Hill resort neighbouring Klong Nin Beach, we were told that there is a few travelling spot around the center Lanta, so we rent a scooter for a day from the guesthouse (which the owner is so hilarious and owned a monkey named Jackie Chan!)
we went there spontaneously and never expected a adventurous trip, after we reached Mai Kaeo Cave in around 20mins drive, i even exchanged my slipper with the guy who sell the ticket as he was very worried, and guess what, he was absolutely right. A pair of sport shoe and drinking water are essential.
the whole adventure take about 2 hours, we met a very friendly tourguide Shan who loves to tell Thai humor, it started with a half an hour jungle trekking, it wasn't really difficult but some part is pretty steep and slippery after rainy day. when Shan told us he will get the ticket for the National Park and we were expected to heading up the hill, he pointed to a really dark hole beside us instead, and there it is, Mai Kaeo Cave is hiding in a very undiscovered area.
Cave is really dark and we were provided with a headlight, lots of climbing, crawling, walking and even swimming in there, but it was really fun yet exhausting, i was so relief because the pair of slipper saved me.
if you ever stop by Ko Lanta, i would recommend you to spend half a day in Mai Kaeo Cave, trust me you won't be dissapointed and wrap up the dark visit with tonnes of bats hanging in the cave, dark knight rises hahahah.

Un grand merci à toute l'équipe, et en particulier à Didier, grâce à qui nous avons tous passé une journée merveilleuse à bord de ce très beau bateau tout en bois ! Un long Tail géant magnifique et confortable, où notre groupe d'amis s'est senti comme à la maison ! Une ambiance formidable, des baignades, de la pêche dans une eau sublime à Koh Haa et un BBQ d’anthologie.... on a adoré, et on revient bientôt !!!! A recommander !

Is it possible to take day trip to koh mook + koh kradan + 1 or 2 more island in 1st aug?
I am very keen on seeing above islands.
