If you’re looking for the ultimate ‘Cabo Fishing Experience,’ your search is over. Top rated Captain Kenny Busick and his fabulous crew provide THE finest charter in Cabo: fantastic food and even better fishing!
Boarded the boat in the morning and was met with a cup of exquisite coffee and a light breakfast. Enjoyed a delicious fruit and berry salad on the way out. After I caught the first marlin and had recovered somewhat, a crewmember brought me a delicious mixed green salad with fresh grilled chicken. Later in the day we dined on the freshest tuna and marlin sashimi possible that was the best I’ve ever had!
When I was cranking on that first marlin, my arms and shoulders burning, and the seven foot fish cleared the water completely, 100 yards behind the boat and still stripping line like a freight train, I realized that this was as good as it gets!
Trust me, when you disembark from Captain Kenny’s boat in the afternoon you will have dined as well as any restaurant, and along with your aching arms, you will have an ear to ear smile knowing that you have just had a magical experience in Cabo!

I have visited Cabo two times within the last 3 years, both times I went fishing and cruising with Captain Kenny and his amazing crew and received nothing but pleasant vibes and memories that will last a lifetime! The entire crew was very attentive and was all about making sure I was having the best of times. I will never book with anyone else when visiting Cabo!

We enjoyed our trip with Capt Kenny. The crew and food was amazing! This was our second trip on the Samurai and even though we did not catch any fish we had a great time.

I have fished many islands and own a boat back east , The Samurai was beautiful , clean and a fishing machine ! I shared the charter with a stranger , Tim , who will become a lifetime friend as will Capt Kenney ! The service and food was 1st class , we each caught striped Marlin @ 125lbs each fish and my dream fish!

After booking this boat for a couple of days in April for a trip in November the problems started. a couple of months after booking I was approached by another company with a very similar name that asked me for the balance on my booking. They said they were working for Kenny. about a month later Kenny calls me with a hard luck business story about some guys who stole his client list in a bad business deal and that he needed me to send him $2000 and cancel the other payment. This payment he wanted through pay pal. The story gets even shadier but I wont bore you with the details. If I was trip advisor I would check this guy out before I let him have any posts on this site. Make sure you check out the current licensing and Insurance for this organization with the Captain of the Port. IF YOU STILL WANT TO BOOK WITH THIS GUY ....GOOD LUCK TO YOU MY FRIEND.

Slander. This gentleman was nearly ripped off by another company calling itself: Baja One Adventures. I called and warned the guest that my Company is called: The One Baja. I have been in business for over 12 years. This gentleman is slandering and assassinating my character because of another Company that tried to impersonate my Company. I have 100% 5 Star ratings. My reputation is very important to me. This gentleman has slandered my name, my Company and my family. This review should be removed because all I did was try and protect the guest which I did. He made no business with me. He never went on a trip with me. He has no knowledge of my boat or my services. This review does not meet Trip Advisor standards for truthful or honest reporting about a "Trip Experience". He never was my client nor did he ever do any business with me. Thank you Captain Kenny for an amazing day! This was a last minute booking and was an incredible day. Captain Kenny and crew were unbelievably hospitable and prepared for the day. We were lucky enough to catch dinner, snorkel and see all that Cabo has to offer. I would highly recommend Kenny and The Samurai to anyone that is going to Cabo.
Kenny went out of his way to ensure we had the best day possible. He recommended a spot where we could get our fish prepared and even joined us for a beer.
I can't say enough good things about our experience with Captain Kenny and the Crew of the Samurai. I will be back.

We (some combination of myself, my wife and my 9 yr old) have been out with Capt Kenny 4 different times. Tons of fun, great fishing and a terrific crew and boat. Have fished all over with Kenny....Sea of Cortez, Lighthouse, Los Arcos, Golden Gate, etc.....have always caught fish and have always had a great time. Kenny and his crew are so supportive of our 9 year old.....tons of patience and instruction. Would recommend at the highest level.

Thank you Sir for the opportunity to earn your business! We know you boys have fished a LOT of great boats, all over the world. You've had TONS of VIP FISHING trips and fished many other great boats in Cabo as well. The fact that you keep coming back to fish on Samurai is a BIG statement. Thank you for that privilege. First time ever going spearfishing and Captain Kenny and crew were amazing. We felt like family as soon as we boarded the Samurai. The boat was very clean and stocked with drinks and food. We even had a visit from "Pancho" on the way back! Definitely a 5 star trip.

We can’t say enough good things about this experience. Awesome day out on the ocean with CaptKenny Busick and his crew this was hands down an awesome adventure! Started off with cruising out and getting to see Pelican and Lovers Beach and Divorce Beach, then cruised around the corner and down the beachside and saw where Troy was filmed when they stormed the beach then cruised out to the ocean where enjoyed some fresh fruit and homemade granola, unbelievable guacamole, Pico de gala, cheese quesadilla and bean burrito omg, caramel and cheddar popcorn etc. then we got to see the whales. The whales put on a show—jumping out of the water and waving at us. Then the whales decided to follow us. On the way back in was also very entertaining we got to see sea lions (dolphins—according to Chuck) lol as they came up on the back of the boat wanting leftovers.
Overall 5 stars awesome time and a great crew ! Can’t ask for a better time thank you again captain Kenny we had and awesome time ! Don’t do the Commercialized things contact this crew for the personalized local experience that’s actually affordable.

My family & I are going out with your crew the 3rd wk of August. Just curious do we lose sight of land & should we get Dramamine patches or should we be ok with over the counter meds? Just curious as to how rough it might be. Thanks for any helpful info.

I have been fishing with The One Baja team several times in the past year, and, yes, you can lose sight of land, as they go as far as they need to to find the fish. The boats are large & stable, but, if you are prone to sea sickness, I would recommend the dramamine patches. The roughness of the seas can vary depending on a number of factors, which are sometimes unpredictable. Hope this helps & you're going to have a great time!

My wife and I are going to be in Cabo and would like to go fishing and boating any day August 15th-18th, we do not want to fish for big game but more like Mahi Mahi or similar fish. Fun fishing and fun on the water. We would like to do a 4-6 hour trip and we would like a reliable guide. How is the fishing this time of year and what would you have available during that time frame.

Hola Dennis! In the month of August an Angler in Cabo can generally expect to target Dorado (Mahi Mahi) Wahoo and Tuna. So if you are interested in this type of fishing August should be a perfect time of year for your Fishing Adventure of a Lifetime! We might suggest Dragon or Katana for just two people and a trip of 4-6 hours. You will probably see Marlin jumping also which is very exciting to observe, even if you don't want to target the Bill Fish!
