This is a beautiful park with lots of gorgeous foliage, sculptures, trails, and a petting zoo with adorable baby goats.

Beautiful and well maintained gardens, water areas and trails. It was very wet when we went, so we stayed on the main paths, but there are many trail options. Stunning trees, floral displays and fauna all over. Such a peaceful and relaxing oasis in Victoria.

Beacon Hill Park is a beautiful large park a short walk from the harbor and downtown. the park has a petting zoo for kids. many trails. a putting green and a unique sculpture called the Moss Lady if you can find it,its also one of the stops on Victoria's Hop Onn Hop Off tour

This is a large well-maintained park in the heart of Victoria. A great place to take the family for a day's outing, the children can run around or play in the children's play area. Plenty of places to sit on the sun or under the shade of a tree. A very beautiful park.

This is the first place I bring my guests when they stay with me in Victoria. It's a great location for a picnic, a stroll amongst a variety of mature trees and beautifully maintained gardens, a silent meditation beside tranquil ponds, stream side or fountains. The rare Garry Oak can be found here, there are concerts at the small stage, birdlife aplenty and a petting zoo nearby. Free parking is available and a small splash area for kids.

The park is a wonderful place to explore! There are so many beautiful flowers, ponds and wildlife to enjoy. It was worthwhile to meander through the park. Lots of photo ops.

A nice Park. Scenic. Easy walking distance from the inner harbor. We enjoyed the Moss Lady. it is peaceful, a great place to relax.

If in Victoria, set aside some time to visit Beacon Hill Park. Great location right near fisherman's wharf. Plenty of hotels nearby. You can just stroll by the numerous ponds and gardens or take a horse drawn tour. Lots of food choices within minutes......well worth it!

We went here twice in a couple days. It was beautiful! The trees, the flowers, the water features, the peacocks roaming around, and we even saw turtles catching some sun on a log!

Petit coin de verdure au coeur de la ville. Le parc est très agréable avec ces paons, ces canards, ces écureuils..... Il permet de rejoindre la plage afin de prolonger la balade

Yes, but please use caution right now as there are over 200 homeless people camping in beacon Hill Park. Be careful as there are drugs, used needles, lots of garbage and people have been threatened.

Sorry about the delay in replying. Victoria Parks regulations state that there must be no fires other than in designated fire pits. I am not aware of any fire pits in Beacon Hill Park. The best idea, if not too late, is to email them directly and ask the question

There is a great spot for a picnic on the Southeast side of Beacon Hill Park near the big flag poles, facing the ocean. Great views!! If you’re coming from downtown, stay on Douglas Street until you get to Dallas Road, then turn left. Look for parking on Dallas Road near Cook Street or on Cook Street if necessary. On the left side of Cook Street is the World’s tallest totem pole and Cherry Tree Grove, the flag poles are before that also on Dallas Road but closer to Douglas Street. Either location is excellent for a picnic in Beacon Hill Park!
