A fun morning in the sun

A fun and educational day! Alpaca walking experience was so much fun…thanks to Alex and most of all to Bernard the alpaca. Bird of Prey display was excellent and all ages learnt a great deal. Mr and Mrs were particularly amusing. A picnic lunch at this beautiful location and a look at all of the other animals and birds meant that we easily filled 3 hours. Would thoroughly recommend.

Meet the meerkats

I was given the Meet the meerkats as a present and it was amazing. We thought we’d be feeding them but not be able to touch them but we fed them and they climb all over us. We also had some cuddles. The staff are very friendly and the staff member who took us in there ( I can’t remember the name but he has a beard ) was absolutely amazing. So informative and friendly. Would highly recommend.

Lovely day out!

We went to eagle heights after having an alpaca experience booked. The person running it (who’s name has escaped me ,sorry) was really knowledgable and his enthusiasm was contagious which made the experience really enjoyable. We were then able to have a walk around which overall made it a really lovely day . Would definitely go back again for the alpaca experience and would love to try one of the other experiences also.

Lovely Experience!

Came here for a birthday treat and I must say the staff were very friendly & seemed to really be enjoying their job!

We booked a husky walk and we loved it! I really liked the fact that the husky picked you and we got the lovely Panda! The staff were so patient and even helped when I had to get down a very slippy hill!

After the experience we walked around and even though it’s small, the welfare is excellent. Loads of information dotted around about the animals too.

Next we watched the bird show and I must say it’s one of the best shows I’ve seen in a long time. The lady that did it was super lovely and enthusiastic! We even loved the fact that staff members walked the birds around the audience so we could see them up close and personal.

Can’t recommend enough!

Amazing and worth a visit 😊

Absolutely amazing time….did the meerkat experience which was so amazing. Had lots of time with the meerkats and excellent information throughout. Found it very calming with a lovely atmosphere throughout. The meerkats are so well looked after and obviously loved the keeper who in turn loved her job . The whole park was so lovely with amazing views. We saw the bird of prey show which was breathtaking and again run by staff who are so informative regarding the birds and obviously love what they do. We had a rest in the cafe which was very nice with lots of choices, even a vegan sandwich choice which I never find being a vegan. There’s a lovely gift shop and all staff throughout were so so friendly and welcoming. We will be back for the alpaca walk and will tell everyone to visit. A wonderful little gem that deserves a visit 😊❤️🥰

Unforgettable Eagle Experience Day.

I bought my partner a driving experience day for his 60th birthday and he changed it to an Eagle Flying Experience because it was something we could enjoy together. I am SO glad he did! I have to say, it was one of the most memorable experiences I have ever had. Paul is a brilliant presenter and my partner and I both learned so much during the 2 hour experience. We flew 3 eagles, several times , and each eagle was bigger than the previous one. Honey ( a Tawny eagle ), followed by Zulu ( a Marshall eagle) and finally, Skye ( a white tailed sea eagle.) All of them are very beautiful and awesome up close. Our experience also entitled us to afternoon tea which consisted of a drink of our choice plus a sandwich or slice of cake.
As well as our own experience we were also able to watch the public flying displays held in the morning and in the afternoon. During these we watched many more amazing birds, culminating in meeting Mr Stork. What a wingspan!
On the site, there are also owls, alpacas, meerkats, goats and huskies. The tea room is comprehensively stocked, there is a gift shop and seating areas outside for picnics etc. The view over the Darent Valley is spectacular too. We were lucky on the day we had booked. The weather was warm and ,sunny with a light breeze and to watch majestic eagles soaring into the skies above was an experience I shall treasure forever.
DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG. I WAS SO PLEASED TO SEE THAT SIGNS IN THE CAR PARK STATE THAT THE POLICE WILL BE CALLED BY THE MANAGEMENT IF THEY SEE DOGS LEFT IN HOT CARS.

Owl Experience is a hoot!

We took our niece for an Owl Flying Experience and we all loved every minute of it. If you do it ask for Atlas, an adorable long earred owl. She'll steal your heart! We were also lucky enough to fly Igor, a snowy owl and Thelma, a beautiful barn owl. Paul is a fantastic presenter and his enthusiasm is infectious. Stayed to watch the bird of prey show which was excellent, as always. Noble, the Tawny Eagle, was my favourite in that. A nice walk around the grounds then saying hello to Petie, the cheeky caracara, and their gorgeous huskies. Nice lunch in the tearooms overlooking the stunning Kent countryside. It's a day out that's hard to beat.

Excellent Day Out

The birds of prey show was excellent and very informative. Lots to of other animals to see. There’s also a lot of interesting information on the boards situated around the centre. We did the afternoon tea experience and it was delicious. I would like to go back and do the meerkat experience as you get to go in to their pen and have cuddles. Staff were very friendly - I would highly recommend Eagle Heights its a lovely day out. x

take time to enjoy the view

We visited with our two granddaughters recently and all thoroughly enjoyed it as there was more to see than we expected as well as the birds of prey there were other interesting animals that the girls enjoyed.
Try and choose a bright warm day if your coming with kids and you could enjoy a picnic while appreciating the marvellous view over the Darenth Valley.

A must do for dog lovers!

We visited Eagle Hight’s to do the Huskey kennel tour/experience. Our tour guide was excellent at providing information on each of the Huskey’s that we met. Overall you meet around 15-20 Huskey’s and get the opportunity to play with, feed and interact with them. The experience did not feel rushed and a small group size made the whole encounter feel more intimate. The rest of the foundation grounds are also worth a visit as there are many other reduce animals too see and interact with.
