5 stars because it is not possible to put more! It was one of the best experiences of our lives! First for the organization of the stay, with Beauty, very responsive, who answered all our questions. Then the whole crew of the boat, always taking care of us, to anticipate our every desire. The cook, who makes hearty and excellent meals. Finally, a dive team at the top: Matteo, Sahril, Eric and our favorite Yetno who was our Guide: everything "easy, easy, slowly, slowly". A ball of energy and good humor, hyper professional underwater, who sees absolutely everything, from small hypocampi as big as a grain of rice, to sharks, manta rays, lamentin! Very precise and colorful briefings, and an organization of thunder so that we are always alone and first on the sites, all chosen with care. And thanks also to Luca, who turns the wheels of this magnificent machine! Best dives, ever! We only want to do it again!

I did the 4 day and 3 night Liveaboard with Sokaraja. If you don’t want to read the long review I will make it short: amazing diving with amazing people in an amazing environment. Do it and don’t hesitate to book it.
The boat is very clean and has different chill out areas and spaces to lay down in the sun or play cards. You can choose between private cabins or an shared room. Some people worry that it is to hot without ac but in the night Komodo cools down and there will be mostly a slight breeze. After 3 dives every day you will sleep for sure anyway. The boat tries to work as much as possible with solar panels, so the engine doesn’t need to run all the time and it’s calmer compared to other boats and more environmental friendly. The Indonesian staff on the boat is very helpful and friendly. They are cleaning the whole time the boat so it is never dirty or wet. They always have a smile on their face. The food is an mix of traditional Indonesian food and western food. They serve fish, chicken, beef, vegetables, rice and a lot of other stuff. You get breakfast, lunch, dinner and in between snacks. Meatlovers and vegetarian both enjoy the food. I thought I will loose weight on this trip because of the diving and trekking but with this delicious food I probably gained some pounds.
Now it comes to the diving.
Before you leave the port, you will get your equipment and check if everything is fine for you. The instructors are very experienced in this area which is in my opinion in Komodo very important due to the changing currents. They speak different languages and are always fun and professional at the same time. Sokaraja wants to give you the best experience while diving, that’s why they trie to go to divesites at certain times, when the conditions are good and the divesites are less crowded. Which can be a big plus when you want to see the famous manta rays, they don’t like to many bubbles. A lot of times we where the only divers on the divesites when we jumped in and when we came out many boats started visiting the divesites which was perfect for us. The diving itself in Komodo is beautiful and you can see very cool stuff. Komodo is not the easiest place to dive in the world due to its current. Sokaraja is diving in very small groups (max 4 people) which makes the diving very safe and enjoyable. Also it is easier to see animals when you are less people. We saw dolphins, sharks, turtles , manta rays and a lot of other fish and beautiful corals. Beside the diving you are going to see the Komodo dragons and a beautiful sunset point on an island.
Before I booked I was not sure if it is worth the money, because I am backpacking on a budget and this was my biggest expense in 5 months of traveling. But I have to say it was 1000% worth it. So if you are not sure, please book it, it is an amazing experience you will never forget. Especially if you love the underwater world.

My cruise with Sokaraja was one of the greatest experiences of my life. The boat is very comfortable, the crew attentive, the food excellent and plentiful and the diving team is extraordinary. A big thank you to Yetno, Luca and Matteo for their very precise briefings which give confidence, we feel that they have great experience of Komodo and that is very reassuring with the sometimes strong currents. Waking up at 6 a.m. even becomes pleasant with the dynamism of the team who puts a smile on your face in the morning. The itinerary is truly perfect with a mix of diving and hiking that allows you to discover everything the park has to offer. I will return to cruise with Sokaraja and recommend wholeheartedly to anyone to dive with this amazing team.

I can't begin to explain how exceptional this experience was in every way! I was on my first diving experiences when we booked for this 4-day adventure and despite the apprehensions I may have had at the beginning, Lucas and his calming energy knew how to make each dive an unforgettable moment! The sites we had the chance to explore were full of color and variety in terms of both underwater flora and fauna, on a whole new level! We were always the only group diving at the sites and were able to have an amazing view at all times! The day activities were also superb and the scenery of Komodo National Park was breathtaking! The entire Sokaraja team was most helpful and professional throughout the trip. Plus, the food was completely delicious from morning to evening, we had a great time! I would recommend Sokaraja 100%, it was definitely the experience of a lifetime and words are too weak to describe how good! Many thanks to Lucas and the entire Sokaraja team, we look forward to seeing you again for another adventure!

My partner and I loved our 5D/4N trip!! We saw so many mantas, turtles, sharks and beautiful coral reefs. Our snorkel and dive guides, Erik and Yetno, were exceptional and the briefings were super detailed. There was a good mix of activities with 15 dives (12 snorkels) and multiple island and beach visits including the Komodo Dragon trek on Rinca Island. The Sokaraja team were incredibly accommodating and friendly throughout the entire booking process & onboard. There was always plenty of food, catering well to my dietary requirements. One thing to be aware of is that quite a lot of the crew smoke and the smell can be a bit hard to escape at times - especially if you're not used to being around smokers. Otherwise wonderful diving, snorkelling, good food and good company - highly recommend!

The 4 days on Sokaraja were unforgettable!! Thank you to Luka's teams for taking care of us on their boat, the diving equipment is in very good condition, very good meal with choice, the dive sites were varied, very good briefing and good atmosphere on the boat. We highly recommend going through them!

What a joy to meet Luca again since my last stay in 2018 on SOKARAJA for a 5d/4n liveaboard.
It's the cheapest liveaboard on Komodo but the enthusiasm and professionalism are also there.
What more can I say, except that I will come back again :-)
The boat is beautiful & very friendly, large choice of dishes.
Land activities are organized in addition to diving:
-The meeting with the dragons accompanied by a national park guide; - Short hike to the top of a hill to admire the sunset & the magnificent view (always accompanied by a national park guide);
- A break between 2 dives on a sandbank in the middle of the water...
On the diving side, the equipment is new & very well maintained, the briefings are very detailed, a breakdown by level group & also the possibility of taking a certification with Luca (who passes on his knowledge & much more: His Passion).
The local guides know the sites perfectly: Every dive is incredible & stays in our minds.
Books are available to discover even more marine life.
Not only does Luca share & pass on his passion for Komodo & diving but he has a great rapport with the Crew & the group guides.
Glitter in your eyes!!!

Excellent diving cruise!
It was incredible. The boat is very comfortable, the meals are varied and plentiful. Every dive is a unique experience, the equipment is great and the dive masters are awesome. Everyone takes great care to ensure you have a superb experience. You will also visit Komodo Park. The atmosphere was really great.
I 100% recommend this cruise.
PS: we loved the musical briefings! Thank you Luka and Yeti!

Incredible experience. Staff are so much fun yet when came to the dives, professional. Amazing dive sites and well briefed prior to entry. Great value for the price also (the best value of options for Komodo), and food was plentiful and delicious. Also saw Komodo dragons and we were first to enter in the morning. Also included another hike to an island with incredible view for sunset. I will be back!

We had a great time being on the sokaraja! Luca and the whole crew are just amazing.
My girlfriend did the PADI advanced course on the boat with Luca as her instructor. He is an incredible experienced diver and made her feel so safe and comfortable diving in Komodo with not that much experience. He had a really calm and reassuring attitude and teaches you a lot. The diving was amazing and the boat trip as well. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. You can sit also in the communal spaces to relax in the sun/shadow. We had amazing vegan/vegetarian food on request made by the cook which was awesome and had good variety. Would 100% recommend going with sokaraja. We loved every bit of it! Thank you Luca and crew for making our time so incredible.
