I've been before, about 6 years ago and couldnt wait to have my friend and her kids come along for a fun day at looking at some amazing pieces of...well... everything! Vintage phones, a salt and pepper shaker room, a trophy left, antique carriages, figurines, coats, farm equipment and everything in between!

We were greeted by the infamous orange tabby who will let you pass for some belly scratches. I was slightly taken aback by (I'm assuming the current owners) first greeting us of "You brought money right?" We kind of nervous laughter brushed it off as it was a little offputting.

I was so excited to get to our first barn to make our donation to go in and I was disappointed to be honest. We dropped our donations and the first thing you will be hit with is a wall.

I know that it's on a farm and cats will mark their territory.... this was eye stingingly bad and made it so hard to breathe or access some spaces at all.

Once filled rooms that were easy to browse and access were dust filled, empty, piles of things making it a challenge to walk through. It wasnt a great experience this time around.

There has once 4 buildings to visit that I recall. We found 2 that were accessible or that hadnt been removed of their items completely.

All in all, it's an interesting place to see, but I daresay its glory days may be behind it now. I cant imagine the cost of the upkeep (I'm assuming that's why the we received the greeting we did) and theres certainly not a lot of foot traffic around there so I do understand that it's a lot to manage.

It wont take you a day like it used to, it took us about an hour before we made our way to Birchwood Dairy which is stone's throw away.

I see that other reviews have called this a "museum" and an "adventure" but I really don't know what to make of the experience. If ambling around piles of junk sounds intriguing to you then check it out. As the saying goes one man's junk is another's treasure....

I've been coming here for years and love introducing people to this amazing showcase. Marian & Jon are lovel and great conversationalists. there are lots of photo ops here. Everytime I go, I try and find the ginger tabby, he is usually sleeping amidst the jumble and always appreciates having his ears scritched.

Spent a Saturday afternoon @ Granny & Grumpas. Fun to browse the barns full of antiques & collectibles & reminisce. Unfortunately we tried to purchase a few pieces of crystal, which was not pre-priced, upon asking to purchase we witnessed a tirade from Granny regarding. We left with a very bad taste in our mouth & we certainly will not go back. Advice; fun to visit but don't attempt to purchase

My six year old grandson walked in the place and muttered under his breath "I can't believe you brought me here!" It didn't take him long to understand why he was here. He loved it. It was hard to slow him down to really look at things. The place is a series of barns filled, and I mean FILLED, full of anything and everything. Go to remember or learn about the past. Interesting for all ages.

This antique store is on a farm in the beautiful Fraser Valley, just south of Abbotsford, BC; an easy one hour drive east of Vancouver. By donation, you have access to an amazing collection of items that has something for everyone. The clean, dry out-buildings are filled to the rafters with a massive eclectic mix of collectibles, old tools and farm machinery. You will be shocked at the shear volume of items and how many times you say, "Wow, look at that". If you are looking for an interesting place to go for a walk and have lots of fun at the same time, a visit to Granny and Grumps will not disappoint. Highly recommend!

Very personable people own this farm with the antique barns and also a large dairy farm nearby. Interesting to talk to the lady. Didn't find anything, but was overwhelmed with the size and amount. Very impression salt and pepper section.

A visit to Granny and Grumpa’s Antiques prompted by a listing in the circle farm tour in Abbotsford. This place is aptly named and is a junk collector’s haven with rusted farm equipment, vintage signage, books, propaganda and multiple items. There are no clearly marked prices and when we tried to purchase, “Grumpa” would not accept price offered. When I tried to negotiate, he yelled ‘NOOOOOOOOO!!” and literally made me jump back. An alternative to craigslist or ebay.

After having heard of this place for years and seeing it in Canadian Pickers, I finally made it out there. Very Very funny elderly couple run the property. I say property because im not really sure what it is. Its sort of a museum, but a confusing one at that. And then its kind of a store, but nothing has prices. Most things I wanted to buy weren't for sale. I certainlybwasnt about to haul large items out to be told the same. It was an aventure for sure, but felt like I needed a shower afterwords. Very messy and dirty. A lot of interesting things to see though.
