Our family did Great Aunt Gertrude’s Gazillions and had so much fun! We escaped w only a few minutes to spare, the “helpful hint” buttons were nice, as with those you could have as many or few clues as you needed. Overall, it was a great experience and the management is great as well.

Be prepared to blow your mind off! Best place to hangout. Advise: please being atleast 4-5 friends to crack the clues.

We came to the escape room for my friend's birthday. There was 4 of us and we managed to escape with only 30 seconds to spare! Some things were harder than others, but we felt challenged and walked out (escaped!) Feeling both smart and not-so-smart. We had a great time and I would recommend!

A LOT of fun for our family of 4! Tons of puzzles in Schoolhouse Rush Escape Room and great theming. The helpful hint buttons were a great touch. We escaped with literally a second or two to spare. We will be back to try another room. This was our 6th Escape Room and this was definitely one of our favourites.

This was my first attempt at an escape room and I must say, I was quite impressed. My two kids (20 and 24) and I did the ‘Taken’ room. The clues and props were very well thought-out. We managed to escape the room but were surprised to find out there was a second, smaller room. We didn’t escape that one, but had a great time anyway and consider our adventure a success. I would recommend this location and will likely go back to try another room.

Can’t wait to try the others. The props and decorations were awesome and it was a perfect level of challenging, especially for just 2 people. I liked the amount of hints that were optional and progressive in detail. We likely wouldn’t have gotten through without them; there were only 2 of us. It was my partner’s first time to an escape room so I at least knew the gist of it. The staff accommodated for just two of us in the way of help, as there was one clue that we literally could not have done unless we had more people, so that was nice. They did have to come in to fix several things, as they were not working, and they either told us via intercom to to retry or came in to physically fix things. But they added us extra time and we escaped after those setbacks.

We booked a room for 9 players, but one player was unable to make it. Despite the rest of the members showing up and meeting the minimum amount of players required, we were not refunded for the missing player, but instead given in-store credit for future visits. I did sign and accept their cancelation policy; I understand why a refund would not be given if the entire group did not show up as it is a live event game. However, I don't understand why it would apply for individuals (the rooms were booked and in use, plus there were still more people playing than the minimum requirement). The inflexibility around their cancelation policy for individuals and their cheap attempt to provide in store credit seems ridiculous to me as we will not be returning.
A tip is to book the room with the minimum amount of players required for that room and then pay for additional members upon arrival. This way if any of the players can't make it for some reason you won't be charged despite their absence. Escape rooms are typically accommodating when they are making money in the process and usually accept additional players as long as they are within the maximum capacity.
Myself and my friends who have participated in multiple other escape rooms from different companies believe the puzzles were on the easier end, although some aspects of the room were creative and we still enjoyed the room.
However, the rooms were quite small and did not provide an immersive experience like other escape rooms, and it felt very easy to get disorganized as clues and props would get jumbled and messy in a small space(we did the Superhero room).
The quality of the short introduction video explaining the rules and goals was quite poor quality and made the game feel as if it was oriented more towards children. We prefer other escape room companies over this one, but based on the reviews others might enjoy this one.

Thank you for your feedback about the game and the video. I am glad your group had fun, which is the ultimate goal of escape rooms. The puzzles are designed for most ages and have a range of difficulty. Referring to your comment on the puzzles being "on the easier end", and noticing that neither of your teams finished the room in the allotted time, I am confused to how the room would be too easy. Making the puzzles too challenging is never good. For yourself and future users, the exact terms and conditions are as follows:

My boyfriend and I have done 4/5 rooms here (Taken, Great Aunt Gertrudes, Curiosity shop, and superheroes unite) and overall had great experiences. Some of the rooms are pretty easy (especially with the tempting hint buttons everywhere) but are satisfying to escape. Taken is really cool and detailed! Really great hosts and a fun overall experience.
