Hi My son has cerebral palsy and is in a walker. He has barely any use of his left hand and full function of his right hand and arm. He has done zip lining before and loves it since he is such an adventurous kid. Is your site handicap accessible? Would he be able to do the zip line? If so could he do all 5 lines. He can do most things other than climb, stopping with his feet and needing to use both hands. Also I am not sure what the terrain on the zip line is like. Last summer he did the one at Whistler BC
Hi, this attraction takes place through a mountain scene and trail.
It starts at the topo of the mountain, in fact you access by the skiing gondola and from there you have to walk approximately 100 yards to reach the first line.
I believe that he could do the lines without any problem because he can be assisted by one the attraction´s staff, and he can ride along with one of them all the time.
Two members of the staff will be with your group every moment.
He does not need to use any of his arms or hands during the line ride and he will enjoy it very much.
There might be two problems:
One is getting from one line to the other, because he will need to walk through mountain trails and those paths aren´t easy.
The second problem is that he will need to climb and descend about two stories of wooden stairs to start and after finishing every line.
I do not know (and do not remember) if the attraction has any kind of assistance to climb and descend the stairs.
In other words, the line shouldn´t be a problem and neither a risk to your son, but moving from one line to the other might, unless you can assist him with the walking and climbing the stairs.
I hope he can do it, because it is really fun!
Hope this can help and best regards.
