A bar/pub/book store with a twist. A very quirky modern day venue with a rusty independent twist. Unusual selection of drinks gives this place a different stamp compared to main stream pub venues. Seemed very popular with the younger/student crowd and can see why it’s popular as it does offer something a little different to the norm. Bravo

I had been very excited to make a visit to beerwolf after discovering it on a video about Falmouth, it was described as a hidden gem with a book shop attached for you to relax with a book and a glass of wine … maybe I had romanticised this a little too much in my mind… it was not what I was expecting, albeit it was a rainy Sunday afternoon so it may well be different in the week when people are back in uni, but it was packed, incredibly noisy and the book shop appeared to be THE place for people to have deep ,personal conversation with their partners while stroking each other, leaving me feeling very awkward to the point I didn’t really have chance to look through the books which is why I went in the first place. The gentleman behind the bar was interesting, I couldn’t make out if he was rude and sarcastic or just very dry and to the point , just don’t ask for “normal milk” in your coffee , it didn’t go down well with him as “they don’t do dairy” ! I felt like I’d been told off by a teacher .

Nestled away in the deep Cornish alleyways of Falmouth, you will find the unassuming yet fabulous Beerwolf. Collete and I really enjoyed our time here. Jalapeño stuffed olives, smoked almonds, pistachios, and a wide selection craft beers set us riling for the night. But thats not all, want to add an academic accent to your evening? you’ve come to the right place. Alongside your pint and smoked almonds, you are free to peruse the bookshelves that are stocked with affordable yet inspiring books. We will definitely be coming back to Beerwolf, and we hope you do too!

If you like to watch heavy petting while you enjoy your drink then this is the place for you.
I mentioned that it wasn’t appropriate but was told by the wench behind the bar that it was acceptable as it’s a public space.
I was accused of being homophobic as it was 2 lads but I didn’t realise that.
She was clearly wrong as I was with my husband and my GAY brother.

What a legend of a pub. Great beer, atmosphere and bought my daughter a book. Pin ball as well. Lovely place. Great beer selection. I had Chimay and thoroughly nice it was too.

What is this place?
Hidden away it looks like it could be a little gem but when I went in I found it quite unusual. It was a fusion of a bar, a coffee shop, a book shop, and with 3 pinball machines, a youth club.
Decent choice of beers though.
The walls are a deep red which makes the place seem warm and cosy, but also a little dark. There’s a real fire place in the corner which I bet is lovely in the winter.
You can choose to sit on old stools, hard wooden benches or old scruffy wingback chairs.
I haven’t made my mind up to be honest. I sat and read my book for a bit with a nice pint but I wasn’t sure what to make of this place.
Some places I feel like I could happily sit and read, and drink coffee or beer for hours. But not here.
It’s quirky, unusual and for that reason I think some may love it, others may not.

An amazing pub with a library, only popped in for a quick drink but looked a lovely place. Has pinball machines too.

Very good pub, some (~4) hand pull ales on, all local. Very help staff and a REALLY good feel to the place. If you are in Falmouth and want a chilled alternative almost hippie drink, do not miss this place.

I was disappointed with my experience after many people telling me what a great place this was. Although it was our first time visiting we thought we could just walk in and take a seat at an available table. After a while we were served, but the staff member was really rude and off with us, saying that he didn't come over to serve us because we didn't reply to him saying hello to us when we arrived - which we didn't even hear. We then both ordered a coffee which came back super watery and tasteless. but politely asking to have another coffee was met with a grumble.
This was most likely just an unfortunate one off experience and going back since I've been met with lovely helpful staff. All this aside, its a super cosy cafe, the book selection and prices are great!!
