Fantastic nights entertainment

Just been to an absolutely fantastic nights entertainment at the Babbacome theatre. The Superstars show was great from beginning to end . The cast did a great job with show songs and popular songs . Great humour and comedy sketches. I haven’t laughed that much in ages . Thank you for making my first post lockdown theatre visit memorable. Would definitely recommend a night at this lovely theatre. Keep supporting our theatres ❤️

Absolutely brilliant performance of the Super Stars show. Small cast of 11 kept the flow superbly.
Special mention must go to Steve Laister, the glue which held the show together.

Last minute booking, but glad we did

Having had a show at the Torquay Princess Theatre cancelled at short notice, we were looking for something else to do that evening.
Quick search saw a show at the Babbacombe Theatre that night. We thought, give it a go. It was a variety show called "I love music".
The show was amazing. The cast excellent. Some excellent singers. Whole show was great from start to finish.
Yes the Theatre is old, small, but it's intimate so you feel close to the show. Sadly the theatre is not open for pre-drinks before the show, but does offer an interval bar in the theatre.
We are now looking to come back for the Christmas show instead of going to a pantomime :)

Went to the Super Stars 2021 show enjoyed every minute of the show. Comedy. Never laughed so much for a long time. Musical Theatre excellent singing and dancing.

I am afraid as the previous comments conclude, we do not have a show for the date you ask.
The only shows we have due in November - Russell Kane on Sat 19th November - sold out and The Magic of Christmas on
Wednesdays at 2.30pm & 8.15pm.
The next touring show is on Saturday 3rd December.The Folk group, Show of Hands at 7.30pm.
Details for the aforementioned shows are all on our website. I would give you the direct link, but we are not permitted to send the website address via a message on TripAdvisor. You can type the name of the venue in your search engine and it will direct you to the website.

The venue has 600 seats in the auditorium. if you would like to see a seating plan, please refer to our website, on the theatre tab there is a drop down box giving the option to view.

Are you sure you went to Starlight, we went and saw it the second night it was one of the best shows I have seen for ages, it seems with all your bad comments that you may have a grudge with the theater ,
why did you not speak to someone that evening in the theater, or may be you have not got the bottle to speak face to face only hide behind Tripadvisor,

Think you got your reviews a bit mixed up. I did visit the Babbacombe Theatre in September 2014 whilst on holiday there. My review was titled Brilliant and i awarded 5* for an excellent show in a lovely interment little theatre. Please take your nasty ilinformed comments elsewhere . and i would like an apoligy on these pages from you. In future please make sure you are responding to the right review. Thanks Dave

Thank you for your query. I can confirm that our first programme does not include a show on the weekend you are visiting the Bay. We do only have a show running on a Tuesday & Wednesday at present, Starlight, which is a family variety show. Our first weekend touring show begins in April on Saturday 4th. I do hope you have a wonderful visit and on behalf of us all at the venue, our apologies for not being able to accommodate you on your trip to the English Riviera.
