A wonderful museum that does much credit to Rosemary Rigby and her initiative in its establishment. We must never forget the courageous young women commemorated here.

Fantastic little museum. Make the effort and go. The lady who runs it is fantastic. Lots to see and makes you realise how much we owe to those people who were prepared to die so young.

Such a wonderful museum preserving the memory of Violette Svabó. Rosemary has put in a lot of hard work to make sure Violette’s story is not forgotten and I was astounded by the amount of artefacts she has collected over the years. Rosemary is absolutely lovely and has an abundance of knowledge to share. I hope the museum remains for years to come!

I spent an absorbing three quarters of an hour talking to Miss Rigby,the owner of this miseum which is dedicated to the memory of a very brave woman.Every nook and cranny is filled with mimentoes.I understand that there is a 100 th anniversary celebration planned for July 10th.

This is a wonderful small museum dedicated to the life of Violette Szabo. This was her holiday house as a child. There are plenty of details and photos of her sadly short but very eventful life. The best part of the experience was being able to speak to the very knowledgeable owner of the museum, Rosemary Rigby, about the brave and inspirational Violette. This is an absolute must if you’re interested in WW2 and its many heroes and heroines. Excellent.

This is a truly superb little museum dedicated to a very brave and committed young women. Miss Rigby has created a wonderful collection of memorabilia and has a deep knowledge of the subject. Would thoroughly recommend a visit if in the area.

My first visit here, on a sunny Wednesday afternoon (the only day it's open), in the village of Wormelow. I parked 100m away on the main street, as the 3 cars by the museum entrance had taken all the space.
Most of the related museum sights are within the garden of the house "Cartref". A very interesting, small museum. You need all the allowed time to read/see the related WW2 information on this brave lady, Violette Szabo GC.
The founder (who asked for photos not to be taken within the museum) and a couple of very interesting older men were there when I visited. They were all full of the history of that time, which for me was a great education. I gladly paid the £5 for a Szabo booklet, plus flyers of future museum related dates/events.
A worthwhile visit.

Went for the Bastille Day event at the Violette Szabo GC Museum. Museum is very small but packed with info and artefacts. Spent biggest part of the afternoon there. Parade with Standard Bearers, Veterans and Cadets. Fascinating speeches from guest speakers and lovely to meet Tania Szabo, Violette's daughter and Virginia McKenna. This is a celebration and a remembrance of the very brave women who were members of SOE. Very moving experience and not what we were expecting.

Spent a wonderful afternoon here today to celebrate Violette Szabo birthday. Marvellous garden party atmosphere . Virginia McKenna and Tania Szabo so natural and welcoming and happy to sign a copy of 'Carve her name with pride' that I bought in my teens nearly 50 yrs ago. A lovely day with lovely people

Nothing at all. What would you like to know about this attraction? I have been there many times and go to the Memorial Picnic each year.
