I visited the farm today (January) with my friend and our 2 toddlers (18 month's) it's a really cute little farm. This farm is free for the public to enter as it's a charity which is also funded by some of the regular clients that help out on the farm (ie NHS/Social Services) everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Our toddlers got to see plenty of rabbits an guinea pigs, chickens, pigs, sheep and donkeys. They also have lots of calves which are kept on the site (these are for beef which is a sad but true fact) they have as big female cow called Daisy which is a pet.
It was a cold day so this was a quick visit but I will be asking if we can feed the animals next time they had pellets on sale for 20p (coin machine) but I wasn't sure which animals they were for. The shop isn't really a shop as such it's a fridge of frozen meat, I'm sure this will fill more in certain seasons. This will be a really nice place to pop and visit in the summer, ideally there would be somewhere to sit and have something to eat but I didn't see anywhere and it's not set in a place that I'd recommend anywhere around the farm so ideally visit with families either side of meal times.
Looking forward to my next visit already and to the lamb shoulder I bought too!

Can not recommend this place enough. Not only is it free but there are a variety of animals toddlers cannot help but love! My daughter, and us had a brilliant time. Will be back on another day very soon!

I took my 3 year old for a visit. Was free to enter. Only little but kept him entertained for an hour or so.
Pigs, sheep, cows, chickens, ducks, donkeys, rabbits and guinea pigs. Nice garden area with benches- we took drinks as there isn't a cafe.
Toilets were fine.
Little shop which sells eggs (Free range and barn), meat, apples, honey...
Well worth a visit if you are local.

Took our 15 month old for a visit yesterday, it's only small so perfect for her to toddle round. Variety of animals on show, pigs, sheep, guinea pigs, rabbits and some extremely cute lambs and calves. Well worth a visit and didn't cost us a penny 😊👍🏼

Wonderful place to visit with children and see the animals and able to buy fresh produce.

We were able to buy feed for the chickens and if the weather is fine there is a place to sit and have a picnic. The animals are well looked after and volunteers assist in keeping the farm open. This is an inner City Farm and everyone should try and visit even if only once.

We visited on a lovely sunny day in July. What a difference! Last time we visited it was pouring with rain! Our 18 month old loved trotting about looking at all the different animals, especially the rabbits, some of which were outside in pens. One of the ladies held one out for her to pet which she loved. There are lots of calves inside and rabbits in hutches too. Outside there are chickens, ducks, cow, sheep, pigs. There is a small shop selling own produced sausages & burgers (frozen). There is also a greenhouse with plants for sale.
