The staff at Blackpool Sealife are outstanding. I don't know any of their names but there was a tall, blond man who was particularly helpful and a lovely lady who also spoke to me afterwards.
My son went missing for about 5 minutes (he was hiding under one of the exhibitions!) I asked a few people and went straight to alert the staff, who reacted promptly, using radios to alert other staff. They communicated with eachother so efficiently and were absolutely fantastic. I heard one blond lady on the radio say the toilets were clear, so they were checking absolutely everywhere.
The blond man found my son under an exhibition, as kids go under there quite often apparently. It was dark so I couldn't see there was space under there until he pointed it out.
I can't thank them enough and they are a credit to the Sealife Centre. True professionals. The man even gave me a bottle of water and the lady supported me after and told me about her relative who was in a similar situation and empathised so well. Though at the time I could barely speak, as I was so overwhelmed with emotion and relieved, I thank all the staff that day so very much from the bottom of my heart.

An absolute star of a lady called Lauren was the kindest person I have ever met, we booked the Blackpool mix ticket and my daughter rang to tell me she had just lost her baby, I was in an absolute state as I had her other 2 children, we were late and she sorted that out and our next madame Tussauds time but the main thing was coming upstairs and asking if I needed a hug, what a wonderful lady who has fantastic people skills and 100%deserves a promotion, this is coming from a travel agent area manager, she is an absolute gem, give her a hug back from me please 🫂🤗.

We come here every year and was so Disappointed this time. You seemed to have let too many people in and you just had to shuffle your way round. I'm presuming because the children's tickets were half price you rammed a lot more people in. I would sooner pay full price and have a more relaxing and more pleasant experience than what we had

This sea life centre was better than the Weymouth one. Still a little small both on the exhibits and the tanks for some fish etc. for example, one eel was so big you couldn’t see the head on end.
The sharks and rays were the best bit. Not sure I would pay separately as I went on a Merlin annual pass. More on the conservation and maybe more domestic exhibits might have been good.
Do like the conservation, rehab side.

I’m not an activist but I left feeling sad. The tanks are so small and the eels for example are huge and can hardly move. I feel like it’s a facade, pretending to help the ocean but really all the animals should be in the wild and not in those overcrowded chlorinated tanks. Besides all this, it wasn’t great -we both felt very underwhelmed. I just regret going and it’s taught me a lesson to be honest.

We absolutely loved our visit. The best sea life center we've been too. Cannot comment on value or price of admission as we used our Merlin passes.

Pre booked tickets are meant to get in quicker, the line was so long it took us 25 minutes just to get in the door, however those without pre booked tickets got straight in.
There were so many people, some with prams you couldn't get close to see any of the tanks, when we were close to a tank, people pushed in. It was so hot because of the amount of people and no ventilation.
Half way around we had enough of being pushed, feet run over and kicked or hit by kids, we found a short cut to the exit so we could get out.
Really disappointed, they could have staggered entry, which would have been a lot safer. Really didnt think it was worth the money.

Unfortunately in the summer it does get busy and even with pre-booked tickets there is often a queue to enter the attraction.
We advise guests to leave prams if they can but it is optional and a lot of guests chose to take them around with them.

We had a fantastic time at Sea Life Blackpool on Sunday August 25th. The staff were brilliant with our kids - very helpful and knowledgeable. Special thanks to Ellie, who went above and beyond to help us have the best time!

Attended as part of a family using wheelchair. Greeted by sarcastic girl on the till who ordered us to go right to the lift "unless we wanted to attempt to use the stairs with a wheelchair". Was ok but wheelchair user did not get to see many things as ignorant visitors all crowded and stood in front of everything blocking any view. Sealife workers could see the struggle but looked on not attempting to help by asking people to be mindful.

Arrived and was greeted by friendly staff. Repurchased tickets quickly scanned and we were in. As we have been here a few times we found the layout to be nearly the same with a couple of tweaks. The staff are friendly through out and ready to answer any question you have no matter how daft. There are a number of talks in various areas and you can tell from how the staff come over that they are passionate about what they are telling you. There is a small café at the end next to the shop. The shop like many places is card payment only.

Depends how long you spend at each exhibit. I’d say it can take anything from 90 minutes to two hours (but longer if you listen to all the talks/ go to the feeding times/ spend time in the play area). It’s definitely worth a visit.
