It's a great piece of history. There is not much to see but the remains of the bombed church. You have to pay £2 to enter the church.

St Luke's Church ( Bombed Out Church ) is a very poignant memorial that's a stark reminder of the horrors of war .
This church was constructed between 1811- 1822 and was built from designs from John Foster Jr and served the community from 1822 till the 6th of May 1941 when this church was hit by an incendiary bomb and was gutted ,the church we see today is what was left after the flames were extinguished ,its still beautiful to view ,the church sits in a pretty garden area ,there's lots of memorials around the church, all in all its a great church and memorial to check out if you're in the area and easy to locate along Leece Street.

It’s worth seeking this out. We arrived on a partly cloudy day making this even more atmospheric. There’s a very somber feeling here, yet the statue out front offers a reminder that war can also bring people together even if only temporary. It’s a beautiful place, one that will stay with you long after you leave.

Astonishing monument to the struggles of the world wars and a not to be missed memorial to two nations at war but humanity reaching through with the Christmas football match.. remarkable. To keep the church untouched is an inspired move and provokes emotions and thoughts towards the suffering of everyone during the war.

We had heard about this place and went along. You pay something like £2 to go in and they give you a laminated card with the history of the place. Although it is so very close to a busy road, it really did not feel like that at all. With no windows and no roof, it should have been noisy but it wasn't. It was such a peaceful, tranquil place - it was like the world stopped outside whilst we were inside! The sculpture in the surrounding gardens was thought provoking. Can imagine when they have events on here, it would be a different feel but would definitely go there again

Sunday Craft fair inside and in the grounds. Lots of stalls offering a variety of items. A great and historical place to hold this. Also had a garden bar/cafe reasonably priced. All good and we will visit again.

Couldn't believe our luck that on passing for the first time was open to the public. Passed before when visiting and was closed to visitors as greatly used by performing arts. Which is a fantastic use of the space.
My teen loves a good ruin and I marvel at architecture so was super excited to have a nosey inside.
£2 each donation. The odd step but ramps were placed where possible. Entrance for disabled via the gardens. Again just 1 small step up.
Definitely worth a look, no toilets (that I saw) , shop or cafe.

This bombed out church has historic value, which is why it stands today. It is now used to promote peace and understanding. I love the statuse of All Together in the yard in front of the church. Entry is a donation of some kind. Stop here to see the devastating effects of war and go away with the idea of being a better citizen of the world.

Worth a visit. Despite being hollowed out during the early 1940’s by an incendiary device, volunteers have dedicated many hours and now successfully keep this building open despite not being rebuilt. Great community space with outdoors restaurant

The gardens are always open so you can look around the outside. Not sure if the church itself will be open. Only down the hill from the two catherdrals and also the Chinese Arch so you could always go there also. Enjoy your visit.
