Visited the area at the O2 called "The Ninety Third by Qatar Airlines", which is a premium members club area at the 02. This is area is a couple of floors up which is accessed by escalators. Very nice welcome by the staff who were very helpful. The area is very nice and quite quiet the night we were there, plenty of room to sit down. There is a cocktail bar area, a usual bar area, and also a restaurant area . We sat in the bar area and ordered food and drinks. Unlike the other private bar areas at the 02, no food or drinks are included. We ordered pizza and hotdog which were ok, but served in paper plates which I don't think was great. I've attached menu in photos so you can see prices. They advertise a special walkway that projects out over the area. This was quite a quirky idea, but you just really walk out on it and look around. Up to six people can walk on it at any time, but other than take photos you don't really stay on there. The staff were very nice and took photos of us You cannot take a bag etc on it unless it goes over your body so it can't fall off. Seat view was good but you are towards the back of the arena but you are face on to the stage.

Visited here many times over the years to see many shows. It’s an amazing venue, access is always easy and the staff are helpful. The drink prices are extortionate but what do you expect!

This is going to re-iterate what it appears many have already written multiple times.

Went to see Michael McIntyre 2 nights ago (Sat 13th April). Getting in we went to get drinks, and then go take our seats. Drinks prices were ridiculous. £8.95 a beer, Rum/Coke (spirits) £13.50 single/£16 double (At least it was Kraken and not a cheap brand!), packet of crisps £2.95. It also made me laugh, that it is even printed onto the plastic cups that you are served that you should deposit or return them for re-use and NOT TO TAKE THEM HOME! For the prices they charge they should be souvenir cups (which would probably help the clean-up crews as not so many people would just leave them all over the floor when they leave!) It was 'Date-Night' with the wife, so wanted to enjoy, and expected higher prices than a pub, but not by that margin. I had exactly the same Kraken/Coke (double) at the pub at Waterloo while waiting for our train, it was £10.20. Their policies for not letting any food or drink in is a bit strict, I literally saw them taking a packet of M&Ms off the people in front of us. Joke being they search bags, but not pockets, so you could potentially take whatever you could fit in your pocket in with you and no issue (Not that we did, should of taken a hip flask!)

Anyway, FYI, although it says the show starts at 20:00, another act came on first for like 20 mins (Jake Lambert - quite funny) for about 20 mins then there is an interval, then Michael comes out at 20:40, and was brilliant, have not laughed that much in a while, so did enjoy the show.

Nutshell:
The O2 is clean, friendly staff, and the show was great. but the prices of things once you are inside are extortionate, so bear that in mind if you are on a budget (most people at those prices would be). Also queues everywhere for everything (toilets, bars etc)

We went to see Michael Mcintyre at the O2 last weekend. We arrived around 2 hours before the show and restaurants were very busy at this time so if you are thinking about eating inside the O2 then get there extra early.

Drink prices were extortionate. I paid £24 for 2 bottles of water and 2 pepsi max.

The show overall was fab.

If you are scared of heights - do not book the higher levels - they are higher than you think and nothing to hold onto when trying to get to your seat.

£8.95 or £9.50 a pint. Utter scandal and shouldn’t be allowed. Other drinks prices just as bad. Nearly £6 for a Pepsi, I think £4 for a bottle of water.

Its a giant venue, its good for a concert especially if you get better viewing seats
its expensive they could offer food and drink and much cheaper prices better deals would make life better for all or its just a rip off-provide more areas to fill up with water for those that require-in fact re build all you concession areas use the space with greater thought and understanding and think more about those attending
Had no issues with the staff around the staff that served me beer were very polite and quick at their jobs
The 02 could be so much better for all if as I said they took some real thought to provide in the actual arena a better experience

The O2 arena is an awful venue - they made a fuss about a tiny rucksack with next to nothing in it. We offered to put the contents in our pockets and roll the bag up but they insisted we go and join a huge queue for the £10 bag drop and then wouldn't let us take our seats for 10 minutes because the show had started. It's a giant hangar, you're not going to ruin the ambiance by coming in a couple of minutes late!

Bill Bailey was great but the venue stinks.

I went to see the 1975 on Valentines Day with my sister. Unfortunately I got split up from my sister on the way out and I lost my phone in the arena so I couldn't find or call my sister. i went to customer services and a lovely lady called Julia Sparks could see how upset I was and she went above and beyond to help me find my phone and reassure me. Some other staff members didn't seem as bothered to help me. My sister recently moved to Wembley and without my phone I would have struggled to navigate my way back.

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to Julia and I hope o2 customer relations realise what an asset she is to the company!

We went to see Strictly Come Dancing, which was amazing, the way the venue is run however is disappointing. Be prepared:

- you aren't allowed to take in any drinks or food into the arena. The teeny bottles of evian cost £4 and are supplied without a lid. Take some spare lids if you can. You could try asking for tap water, I believe they provide that for free.
- alcohol is pricey - £13.50 for a single gin and tonic
- rucksacks bigger than A4 size are not allowed into the arena. It costs £10 to use the bag drop and you'd obviously need to queue to retrieve your bag. So take a very small rucksack or handbag. I'd recommend taking a plastic or paper shopping bag for things like programmes (if you buy them).
- if you want to eat at one of the restaurants there before or after your show, book in advance or go really early (2 hours before the show), they fill up quickly and the queues are long.
- there are huge queues for the ladies toilets before, after and in the intervals. It's ridiculous

Enjoy!

recently visited the 02 with my family and was extremely disappointed. When we arrived at security we were turned around without any warning because our handbag was too big. We had to return to our car which was a ten minute walk away because the bag storage (that staff had suggested) cost £10. After removing all the stuff from the bag and putting it in a carrier bag the staff decided to inform us that large handbags were allowed and it was large rucksacks that were banned instead. After the performance we returned to our car yet there were no signs that told us the way out of the o2 car park and workers told us nothing. The staff were useless and showed no sympathy. I would like to highlight how amazing the show was though as it is only the staff who let down my expectations.
