Casa linda e extremante bem preservada, mantém os objetos e a atmosfera da casa de Freud. Destaque especial para sua sala de atendimento e biblioteca. Simplesmente emocionante!

Nice looking museum. Its not too overfilled and the staff is really friendly. There are a lot of interesting informations about Freud and his last year in the UK. His backstory and his work. If you're interested in Freud and his work this museum is a must see.

Such an interesting museum. Freud's last home, full of personal items and, of course, the famous couch. Well worth a visit.

Not a lot to see, but plenty to stimulate the mind. A lovely house and garden full of the stuff the Freuds brought to England in 1938. Intelligent information about Freud's life and works. A couple of hours of enjoyable discovery and plenty of ideas to take away. If you're interested in the way Freud's ideas shifted our view of what we are this is for you.
There is also, of course, the famous couch.

Vale la pena si se ha leído al autor, sino el museo es muy pequeño y caro, y es más valioso en lo anecdotico. Si tiene un monton de objetos de la familia Freud que en el museo de Vienna no hay.

I've visited the Freud Museum several times and have a membership card. It is always fascinating, and there is always a new exhibition to see. I would recommend this museum to anyone with an interest in history, mental health or psychology, there is much to see and learn. To see Freud's original couch is quite an experience, and there is an almost hushed atmosphere of respect in the room.
The volunteers and staff are enthusiastic and helpful. I would have liked a face-to-face tour of the house but this was not available, at least on the day I visited. There were excellent audio guides which did the job in a clear and interesting way, but I think I would have enjoyed hearing from and talking to one of the many enthusiastic volunteers through a tour of the house.
Thoroughly recommended, and there are lots of nice cafes a 10 minute walk away on Finchely Road. The Garden Breakfast Cafe is my favourite so far.

I decided to embark on a long walk from the Kenwood House to the Freud’s House via magnificent Hampstead Heath. So beautiful and relaxing!
As expected, the Freud’s House has become a real highlight of my trip to London and a small exhibit of Lucian Freud’s paintings was a great bonus. How wonderful it was to feel Freud’s presence in his London residence, which happened to be his last one… You can see his famous couch and his chair always placed behind it, so that the patients cannot see him, his wonderful collection of antiquities, even his glasses…The docents have done a remarkable job in the museum and the online application adequately tells the story of the great scientist and his remarkable family.
Freud’s daughter, Anna, a prominent child psychoanalyst, definitely took after her famous father in her work. Kudos to England for giving Freud and his family a refuge in London back in 1938, when he and his family had to leave Vienna to escape from the Nazi’s persecution, which he faced not only as a father of modern psychoanalysis but also as a Jew (Freud’s four sisters perished in Treblinka). The documentary narrated by Anna Freud and Freud himself is very informative.
If you have time, take a look at the paintings of his talented nephew, Lucien Freud. I am sure I am not the only one who appreciates this amazing master of portraits.
Finchley Road Tube Station is a five minutes walk from the Freud’s House, so it is very easy to get there.

This is a small and well-curated museum in what was Sigmund Freud's home in London. There is an excellent audio tour that provides background on each of the rooms. Remember to bring your phone and your earplugs to access it! The gardens are lovely and the shop has a number of Freud-related items.

Hi there, only seeing your question now. I'd give myself about 2 hours to see the video and go through it with a reasonable attention. Enjoy!

Hola Mariana
No pensamos dedicarle dias a visitar Londres.
Sdos.-

Hello!
1 - There is no need to buy tickets in advance for general admission. Simply arrive during our opening hours (Wednesday to Sunday, 12pm-5pm) and you can buy a ticket at the door.
2 - Yes, there is a Spanish audioguide.
3 - It is very easy to get to the Museum using the subway. The nearest underground station is Finchley Road (on the Metropolitan Line).
We hope you enjoy your visit!
