This cozy, historic concert venue located on Wigmore Street in London offers a beautiful and personalized listening and viewing experience for smaller groups and soloists on stage. The acoustics are excellent in this hall and performances can be well-heard throughout.
There’s a bar/restaurant area downstairs, but make sure to book a couple of days before your ticketed event to assure a table.
What makes this my #1 favorite venue is that is easy to access and leave. The crowd is not as large as other places, making it easier to to get a car.
The inlay art on the ceiling and upper walls is something to admire- truly beautiful.

Absolutely love this place. I never appreciated how beautiful classical music was until I started coming here. Having said this, I have watched choirs and various other forms of music here. The venue is intimate and beautiful. Easy to see the schedule online and book tickets. You can also book way in advance too. Most concerts are approximately 2 hours in duration with a twenty minute (plus or minus) interval. Some concerts are 1 hour without interval. When you view and book the concert online, it will tell you the duration. Tickets are reasonably priced and vary in amount depending on where you sit. Some concerts have special offers for younger people so do check this. The hall and whole building are well kept and clean. You cannot eat or drink inside the concert hall which I think is a good thing! Have a bite to eat or drink prior to coming or during the interval. There is a restaurant / bar downstairs on the premises. You cannot photograph or video concerts. The seats are fine, not the most comfortable and if you have long legs then you may struggle but they are fine generally. Nothing wrong. If you do have long legs, get an isle seat. Arrive on time or early. The hall opens thirty minutes before the performance. If you are late, you have to wait for a break in the concert, before you are allowed in. Concerts start punctually. You can download and show your ticket on your phone (no need to print) or collect it at the box office. What is also nice, is the small programme the staff provide before each concert giving a brief outline of the concert, the music and the history of how the piece was composed which is always very interesting. If the concert includes vocals, then the programme will also include the verses so you can follow this as well. The programme is free and the staff will give this to you as you enter. I cannot recommend coming enough. I go at least once a week when I am in London and look forward to the concerts each time.

Cant believe i have never been here before. First time visit for a lunch time concert and it was really really amazing. An absolute must visit for anyone who loves music. Great setting, superb acoustics, lovely staff. It really is one of London's pure gems and a hidden treasure.

Fantastic concert today with Mario Brunello - a powerful performance, which effectively drowned out the constant banging from the construction work at the front. Always a lovely venue, beautiful decor and comfortable seating.

Terrible experience! Short of staff and it showed! Place was a mess! Totally unorganised! Mens toilets a disgrace! Urine and paper towels all over the floor! What happens to the cleaners? Manager didn’t have a clue, mispronounced the artist name! Staff on duty miserable and bored, I can’t say i blame them! What has happened to this once great place? Management change needed, care more about getting donations than putting on good well organised performances!

This has been on my list for a while. Finally went. Lovely concert hall. Intimate and elegant. Staff are all super sweet, friendly and helpful. Bar / restaurant downstairs. Clean. The concert was lovely. Highly recommend. Check online where you can see the schedule of concerts and events. Easy to book. They gave a complimentary programme upon entering so it was easy to follow with the song sheet/translations. Short interval. Concert was about two hours. Doors open about thirty minutes before.

An outstanding venue- what a joy it is to visit. The hall is just perfect- fantastic acoustics and world class artists. The restaurant is great and love the art deco style. It really isn't one to be missed.

Raining outside, horrible day made warm and sunny because of the restaurant team, had a lovely breakfast served by a lovely team! Thank you, over that last few weeks the bar/restaurant has been transformed into something rather special!
