We took the tube to Southfields Station and walked the 15mins to Wimbledon. Our 90min tour included Center Court, Court #1, Court #18 (to see the grass up close), the press area, restaurants, Murray Mound/Henman Hill, and in general the beautiful grounds. We visited on May 28, 2023 and the courts had not been lined, but ohhhh the grass looked so smooth. Our group included 30 people, which I felt was too big. It was difficult for some to keep up, and the guide didn’t really have time to answer questions…other than that, it was a great informative experience. We also visited the museum, used head sets to explore at our own pace- very well done and we loved the history. Finished our day with lunch in the cafe- delicious sandwiches and dessert.

si te gusta el tenis, el tour a las instalaciones de Wimbledon y el museo es una excelente oportunidad de disfrutar. El guia que nos atendió fue muy bueno, el personal del museo super amable y la experiencia en general fue increible asi que super recomendada esta visita si vas a Londres.

I've been to Wimbledon many times during the championships and enjoyed seeing it at a quieter time. The guide was very informative with some interesting insights. I would highly recommend doing the tour as well as the museum. The tour only included one space that is not open to the public during the tournament and that's the press room, unfortunately the conference centre was closed at the time of our visit. Much of the venue is in use by members throughout the year so is not available for the tour. The museum has some interesting artefacts including the trophies.

After attending one of the 1st ever tours many years ago, it was so nice to revisit. Caroline our tour guide was excellent, with alot of knowledge and answered any questions. As a big tennis fan it was brilliant, definitely recommend.
Enjoyed the museum after, alot to see, I especially liked seeing all the donated tennis kits etc from the players and the trophys.

This is a very well organised tour and strikes just the right balance betwen the level of detail provided and making it fun & enjoyable for all tennis enthusiasts. Caroline is such a good tour guide, she was on top of all the details that all tennis enthusiasts would want to know. We absolutely enjoyed it and only wished the tour was even longer :)

It was disappointing not to have access to private places such as changing rooms, corridors, players restaurant, bar, press room. You only have access to public places as 365 select members hold the rights and privileges to enjoy themselves and keep the public away. This stinks of class exclusiveness. Apart from that our guides Mary and Glen were lovely and very informative.

I loved it!! I highly recommend doing tour. I learned a lot about what goes on behind the scenes and got to see beautiful court in peaceful setting. At Southfield station take a right and cross the street. Bus 493 will take you there in few minutes. You may want to eat before because there is nothing around but one cafeteria.

Sunday morning tour brilliantly led. Great insights and just the right pace. Learnt lots about the tournament but also grass, roofs and seating! Great to get to Centre Court too.
Museum was well laid out, interactive and really set out the history of the game. Definitely worth a visit!

You can choose to buy a ticket for the museum or.the museum and tour (£25 per adult) where a guide takes you up to centre or number one court so you can have your photo opps - be warned security can get pretty paranoid about you getting close to the grass.
The museum is downstairs from the gift shop and has trophy replicas as well as interactive displays, vintage playing items etc I didn't realise there was so much history and it's definitely worth seeing.
The gift shop is well stocked with normal gift shop type stuff and the prices of official Wimbledon umbrellas t-shirts and towels can be pretty eye watering.
The nearest tube station is southfields and then it's a 15 minute walk.
Wimbledon town centre itself is like 2 miles away.

Bonjour, nous souhaitons faire la visite avec notre fille de 12 ans, fan de tennis mais peut on être sur que la visite soit en français, elle serait trop déçue de ne pas comprendre les explications?

The tours are all in English, but you can use an Audio Guide in French for the museum.

It is not necessary to pre-book, but it is advisable, particularly in the morning as the tours get very busy.
Il n'est pas nécessaire de réserver à l'avance, mais c'est conseillé, surtout le matin, car les visites sont très chargées.

The tour is about 2 hours - you see centre court and some behind the scenes.. but remember it is a PRIVATE MEMBERS CLUB, and much is quite rightly out of bounds, you stay with the guide .The museum after the tour and included you do on your own. NOTE - tour not available when the championships are on .I thought the tour very informative. We took the tube to Wimbledon and walked up the hill then down to the aeltc, nicer than from ' southfields ' . good cafes in wimb village !!!
