I called in after the Spurs vs Manchester City game. Got chatting with a couple of Spurs fans, one my age(70) and one a few years younger. Great beer. I'd drink there if I lived in the area. As someone else comments- what you see is what you get

It's an easy friendly pub. No frills or thrills. No food, only nuts and crisps. Dart and pool board available. What you see, is what you get.

Real atmosphere. Nice ales. Nice waiters, nice waitress, nice pub companions. If you live near this area, it's a great place to have a drink.

The Irish pub is a cosy corner for having a beer and watching football or other sport events. There is also a pool if you fancy billiards. Beers are a good standard collection of main brands. Staff are helpful and nice. Very much the only one of its kind in the area.

Traditional local pub/Irish pub. Shows most sporting events including gaa. Staff are friendly and it has a pool table.

I am proud to say that I have counted KK McCools as my local for a number of years. I also frequent various other pubs and bars in and around the City through work but this is my true local. A local pub, a traditional pub, with traditional values…which is exactly what KK’s is. A treasure to find nowadays and it truly offers the local feel, friendly locals, a pool table, a juke box and great weekend entertainment. The Owner and Manager have always kept a strong arm around the pub to ensure it is welcoming and there is no trouble and anyone who knows anything about true local pubs knows that they have to be run with a firm but fair landlady/landlord and this is certainly the case here. They are always on hand to help and have gone over and above on many occasions to help people in their community. The Great British Pub is very sadly in decline and this country is in danger of losing one of its most endearing features. How many people come to visit and are now met with soulless sanitised gastro offerings with apathetic staff and no atmosphere, exactly the type of bar (not pub) that some people enjoy frequenting. If those types of pub/bars are your cup of tea then please enjoy them but something to please be mindful of…………. Local pubs are, for some older people, the only place they visit each week and they are the only social interaction that they have. This social interaction can in some cases be the only human contact that they enjoy each week so please bear this in mind when publicly slating businesses that provide a vital link to life for some people. Local pubs……. we need to visit them and support them, not kick a trade when it’s already suffering. KK's has no leather seats or craft beers, and certainly no steamed quinoa, and for those reasons among many, I highly recommend a visit…….

One of the worst pubs in North London
I visited this pub a few times when seeing some friends in the neighbourhood and it only got worse…Not only the place is completely outdated but Management have no manners or respect for customers at all. The owner is rude and will stare at you with no discretion whatsoever making it very uncomfortable to sit down and have a nice chat and a drink.
Avoid at all cost if there is a minimum of life and joy in your heart, it could not get any more depressing. If you think a Friday or Saturday night gets better…well it doesn’t. The jukebox machine tends to be “owned” by the couple of regulars and the only thing that plays are the worst 70s-80s selection.
Really, not one to be revisited…
