Nigel was extremely knowledgeable, as well as very personable. Very willing to share his knowledge and just a delightful set of tours all around! Highly recommend.

Nigel was great. Flexible, terrific knowledge, accommodating to our limited mobility. Tons of great insights and stories. We tried to cram too much into just two days due to another commitment, but Nigel was great--suggesting alternatives, helpful as we changed plans and professional. Highly recommend this service.

We had an absolutely incredible experience touring the London area with Nigel. Thought the few days that we toured with him he was friendly and helpful and knowledgable about the sites in the region. We couldn't have asked for a better tour guide.

What can I say except that Nigel is one fabulous, knowledgeable, humorous and all-around amazing guide! I first found him and Mirandus Tours back in 2017 whilst arranging tours in London for a group of 15 coworkers, friends and family and he did a great job accommodating all of our requests. Pre-pandemic, I wanted to visit England again with my husband and sister. Due to COVID, our trip was postponed for months, but Nigel kept me informed throughout about the restrictions and prospects for US travelers. Nigel came up with an excellent itinerary of Stratford-Upon-Avon, Chawton (Jane Austen's home), the Cotswolds, Hampton Court Palace, and a bespoke tour of the Temple District with Kate, a barrister and guide who has special access to this incredible location. I whole-heartedly recommend Nigel to anyone looking for a personalized tour experience in London and beyond.

Nigel is amazing! He’s friendly, knowledgeable, and early!! I learned so much on this vacation because of our tours with him. We visited Westminster abbey, Tower of London, Hampton court, Windsor, Stonehenge, and Salisbury. When we return to london we will be booking with Nigel again. Van is also super clean and can fit a surprising amount of luggage (Nigel didn’t even flinch).

Nigel made our experience absolutely fantastic! His knowledge of the sites we visited, his understanding of our needs and desires were exceptional. Working with him from planning to executing each tour was effortless. We enjoyed every moment so much that we will be calling him when we return to England for additional tours. We utilized his services two full days in London and Windsor and we added another day to see Salsbury and Stonehenge. I highly recommend him and his company.

I was very fortunate that I was put into contact with Nigel and Mirandus Tours just before our trip to London in early April. We arranged a driving tour of Bath and Stonehenge and spent a full day with Nigel. It was a long day of travelling to see the sites - but this was the only feasible way we could see the attractions and travel in relative comfort. We wanted to avoid a crowded tour bus and the expense and headaches of a private car rental. Nigel made it easy. He picked us up right in front of our hotel in a clean spacious van and made for excellent conversation throughout the day's journey. He was very kind and very patient. He is a Blue Badge certified professional tourist guide and is very knowledgeable in all topics. He exceeded our expectations many times over. My family of five included three teenagers who all enjoyed the experience. We wish we could have also done Windsor Castle but that would have been an additional day that we did not have time for. Nigel is pretty helpful in giving recommendations and suggestions and within reason will tailor the journey and stops to accommodate the needs of his passengers. I will certainly use Nigel and Mirandus Tours again for my next trip to the UK which hopefully will not be in too many years. AMAZING experience !!

Great drive from London to Stonehenge and Bath with Mirandus Tours’ Nigel Rundstrom. Nigel was not only a trove of information, my husband and I had enjoyable conversations with him spanning many topics
around and outside the history of the spots we visited. It was a long day, but with his expert guidance, walking with us and pointing out particular points of interest the day went quickly. Nigel added nuances to his presentation that we very much appreciated. Having seen and visited many places in our travels through the eyes of expert guides, Nigel stands a head and shoulder above most. My husband and I jointly recommend Nigel and Mirandus tours highly. He will add a dimension to your travels which you will look back to with pleasure.

Nigel Rundstrom planned the most comprehensive and fun tour throughout London for myself, spouse and three teenage children. He was extremely knowledgeable and thoughtful when preparing our itinerary. He was engaging and it was an absolute delight to spend the day with him. I would recommend a private tour with Nigel when visiting London!

My husband surprised me with a trip to Windsor Castle on my birthday. Nigel picked us up at our hotel in London and drove us to Windsor Castle were we took an amazing tour. Nigel was so friendly and professional; as a blue badge tour guide he knew all the history and plenty of stories about the castle and its surroundings. We toured St. Georges Chapel as well as the State Apartments and Queen Mary's Dollhouse. He was extremely informative and welcomed questions about the royals and the Castle. I highly recommend spending some time with Nigel when touring London and the surrounding area, you will not be disappointed. We've used private guides in the past and Nigel was top notch and well worth the cost.
