Having previously read a number of positive reviews i was looking forward to visiting this attraction, unfortunately the reality didn’t live up to the hype.
Firstly if you arrive on the Elizabeth line at the new Canary Wharf station the signage for the garden is non existent, i eventually found it via 2 different lifts.
The garden itself is underwhelming, a distinct lack of colour, little in the way of information on the plants/trees that are there, some of the lighting and bins have been knocked and not vertical, I formed the impression that little by the way of upkeep had been done since the opening.
The 2 ends of the available roof space are taken up by eateries which severely limits the footage for the garden and bizarrely, in the 20 minutes i was there, i experienced the noise of a low flying plane preparing to land at Heathrow courtesy of a partially open and exposed to the elements roof.
Whilst i can understand how it would be seen as somewhere to sit for a short break if you were a local office worker i was left with an overriding impression of a massive missed opportunity.

Eine tolle Abwechslung in den Häuserschluchten des Finanzdistrikts. Tolle Idee: Gut umgesetzt auch mit den Pflanzen des Westens (Farne) und des Ostens (Bambus)

a nice place to go for 30 mins to escape the concrete jungle that is Canary Wharf. I was worried that it was getting dark when we arrived but you just appreciate it in a different way...the lighting is minimal and creates a chill mood but still enough for you to see!

Crossrail Place Roof Garden is a pleasant oasis to visit after seeing the multicoloured tunnel below, was surprised that the roof is open in places, bur well worth a visit

This garden is unexpected and is well worth a visit if you are in Canary Wharf. It is mainly a green oasis but there were a few colourful flowers in bloom. A good place to sit and have lunch.

It's a small area of green garden but so sad no sign of any life.
Drought resistant plants and an art instillation of common bird songs.
Canary wharf and everything about it show you how not to develop city areas.
Whole area is lacking of any wildlife insects birds butterflies and AstroTurf instead of grass.

If you are looking for somewhere calm to stop and have ten minutes of quiet then this new garden is the place. It is on top of the crossrail station and hard to find, but there are also two resturaunts up there. Shame there are no views to be had, you cannot look out over docklands, but even so it is very nice - and free!

Part of riding the new Elizabeth subway line was to go to one end which is Canary Wharf. While doing TA, I saw this rooftop garden. Sooooo, we went and I have to say it was quite good! I wasn't bowled over by it but, it was worth the walk through. I am a bit jaded as I lived in Hawaii for 10 years and saw a lot of the same plants which was really nice! It is a nice place for sitting in a green place within the city. Very nice!

Il Crossrail Place Roof Garden si trova a Canary Wharf, al piano più alto di una moderna struttura edificata nel bacino d'acqua North Dock. E' ubicato in posizione centrale tra il ristorante "Big Easy" ed il bar "Giant Robot". Se non riesci a localizzarlo con TripAdvisor, digitalo su Google Maps.

15 minutes if you are just walking through, it is just the length of the building, but there are two sides to it. It is free and you can spend as long as you want, there are chairs to sit down.
