I booked tuckers for my kids and I but we're unwell before our visit so I wasn't sure if we could attend on the day, got in touch with customer services and honestly they were so helpful and wonderful in helping rescheduling our tickets a few times.
My son is autistic and I was very apprehensive in taking him as he is very easily over stimulated but the whole park was so well managed which meant everything went smooth as well as staff members being lovely. Could not recommend enough. Can't wait to go back.

We have been visiting Wellington since the children were very young! We loved it but I won’t be returning until they accept CASH again. So many places refusing to take actual money is really frustrating.

We love it here. My little boy loves everything; the parks, splash pad, train, feeding the animals, bouncy pillow… would definitely go back.

We visited Wellington on the Dino weekend, and my little one loved seeing all the dinosaurs.
We have been to Wellington a lot and have always had a good time, they have some lovely climbing areas, the splash pad is a great addition in the summer, although there is very limited shade around it, and unfortunately the toilets were out of order so you had to walk to the main centre with a dripping wet child to take them to the toilet which was not ideal.
The actual dinosaurs and presenters were great and it wasn’t too busy so you could still see and interact with the dinosaurs.
I do think that this park is very expensive compared to other places. My Son is 2 years old and we had to pay the same price for him as we did for ourselves which I think is pretty greedy of the park. You also have to pay for extras when you arrive such as the train (which is only a 2 minute ride) and the cars but I am presuming this is to cover the cost of running them.
We do love this park but if it was just slightly cheaper we would visit a lot more as we only live around 15 minutes away!

Need to manage the allocation of pitches better and have family pitches in one area party pitches in another and quieter pitches for people without children so they can enjoy the experience offered

So it’s a beautiful and pretty park, but I’ve been to places with similar things and never paid anywhere near what we had to pay to get in and then on top of that you had to pay to use the train and the cars, it was slightly disappointing as there’s not really much there and for nearly £17 a person to walk around a park it’s a little disappointing to be honest. Not even a decent cafe or place for lunch so then that’s you that needs to pack a picnic. I sadly felt really disappointed by the place, I think the cost of it is a very cheeky ask and because of that we’d never visit again.

It’s a beautiful park, well maintained with loads to do but it’s not a cheap day out.
The train ride is a pound extra per person which feels like a churlish additional cost that undermines a really sweet and imaginative experience.
Would also be nice if the staff of teenagers had some customer service training. It seems like a lovely place to work and yet they’re miserable to the point of unpleasant. No sense of providing a welcome they’re just clockwatching.

This really is a great place for the kids. There is lots to do, plenty of rides as well as adventure playgrounds where they can climb away to their heart's content. The animal farm is good fun where the children can get up close to the animals, they also have regular petting sessions with various animals. The restaurant on site provides good quality food at reasonable prices, or you can take a pic-nic. Admission price is reasonable, bearing in mind that you can stay all day. We were there on Father's day and it was not very busy. Plenty of free parking. Worth the money.

We stayed at the campsite, which backed onto the park. As a campsite ‘resident’ you can enter the park 24 hours (although the farm/train/cars etc close at 5pm). Beautiful place, established foliage campgrounds, clean toilet/shower facilities. Nearest shop ten minutes drive. Camp wifi intermittent, no BT phone coverage. It’s good overall.

I am delighted to read you enjoyed your stay and thank you for your kind comments. Unfortunately being in the middle of a forest, the wifi is intermittent so apologies for that. Just for future reference, there is a BT telephone available on the campsite if needed.

It’s a guess, but I’d expect it’s okay, the plots are quite big per vehicle.

Would this be suitable for an 11/12 year old? I realise it says up to 8 year olds but is that a strict rule that is enforced or just a guide? I'm sure he'll enjoy it but not if he's not allowed on the play areas.

No, most activities are aimed towards children up to 8. There are also signs place around the park that state ‘No children over 10’, for example the play park.
Crazy golf and the animals is about all that you could do with children over 10.

Hi, I'm sorry, I'm not sure. There is one main cafe that does chips! My friend's daughter is coeliac and that always seems to be her fall back! Another smaller cafe has cold food which is mainly sandwiches but I didn't look at labels.

Yes I did not do it but lsome people /families on bikes there are some paths that go throw the forest I belive kids have bikes there as well hope this helps
