Assuming this is Clee Hill with the radar station atop, the local authority needs to get a grip! There were no litter bins, consequently beer cans etc. spread about and what possesses dog walkers to pick up their beloved's poo and then discard the bag! Surely more of a hazard to sheep than the poo itself! There were boy racers aplenty but not actually racing and plenty of evidence of pursuits in the past. The views on a clear day must be spectacular, however, an opportunity lost in my opinion.

A long climb (drive in my car lol) to the top of Titterstone Clee to see the radar golf balls & old quarry buildings at the top, an almost lunar landscape & a sunset view to die for of 7 counties! No toilet facilities here so make sure you use the one in the Clee Village before coming up. Definitely returning (when it’s not 3’C with a windchill of-2’C! 🥶

We drove up in the snow! to explore the old workings, admire the view and breathe the fresh air. Couldn't walk far but now understand why the OS map of Ludlow has old quarry machinery on its picture!

You can drive right up pretty well to the top where there are a lot of derelict works connected with the former quarrying. These are fascinating to explore. This is a good jumping off spot for walks on the hill and you should make sure you see the radar domes. It is all very unusual and has a rather lunar landscape. If walking further afield on the hill to wards Clee Hill village make sure you avoid the current working quarry

Absolutely fantastic 360 degree views over Shropshire and beyond to several neighbouring counties from the summit of Titterstone Clee Hill. There is much archaeology to be found around the hill, ranging from iron age enclosures to more recent abandoned quarry workings. A great place to visit for an hour on a warm, sunny clear day with a picnic (pasties from Ludlow farmers market!). Parking is free, with the parking area located an easy 10-1 5 minutes stroll from the summit. Excellent views can still be enjoyed from the parking area for those unable to make the short climb to the top.

Good walk, a little tricky over the ridge. Took us about three hours to walk from the carpark and do the circuit,

Having known A E Housman's cycle of poems "A Shropshire Lad" since I was at school (in the 1960s) I had long wanted to visit the Clee Hills - and see those "blue remembered hills" for myself. I was not disappointed - a fantastic view.

Really badly signposted. We weren't even sure the car park was the car park. However nice walk, even if we aren't sure we used the main track. Shame about the weather but the couldnt be helped

I was wondering if somebody could help me. Me and my partner want to start walking from the bottom to the top, but is there a car park at the bottom for us to leave the car? If so- whats the post code.
If not, any chance we could leave the car at the Golden pub or whatever it is called, and walk from there ? :)
Thank you!

Plenty of street parking along Clee Hill road by the shops or just up past the cattle grid by the main clee hill parking area

Quite often at the summit you’re either in low cloud or sometimes even above low cloud... which is amazing, like being on an island!
Best to go in bog standard British weather, just a white sky, to get the best of the views. That way there’s no haze.

I'd like my elderly mum to see the view from as high as possible. Is the quarry entrance the highest point to which one can take a car? Also, is it the shortest distance from there or elsewhere to walk to the top? Thank you!

Highest point for vehicle access involves travelling on A4117. Go through Clee Hill village, towards Ludlow and soon after this take right turn marked Titterstone summit - there is a car parking area at the end by the old quarry buildings where you can enjoy far-reaching views
