Beautiful venue. Needs more toilets Please don't advertise doors opening at 6.30 if you are going to make people wait outside till 7. A bit sloppy with admin.

This was the venue for a Michael Palin one-man show. It’s far too big for something like that. Poor sound system meant it was difficult to hear and Mr Palin really didn’t fill the space. A shame, there are better venues in Bath.

My first visit to The Forum , Bath. We were impressed with the theatre layout, good views and acoustics. Our two seats were in The Circle, second row back; a good choice.
The presentation was by Ben Fogle and proved to be worth the journey ad the cost of the tickets. An interesting story of his life, adventures and some comments about his belief in the need for 'Wilding' to recover and protect the planet.
With a limited education, and an office job in London he volunteered for a group venture living on a Hebrides Island for a year or so. The experience was televised and he claimed that it was one of the early reality shows. This led to him taking on three challenges: rowing The Atlantic - England to Antigua; Climbing Mount Everest; walking across Antarctica from coast to The South Pole.
The style of his presentation was relaxed, he was dressed in shorts and T shirt. His manner was calm and quiet but firm in delivery. He spoke of his TV shows that researched the lives of people who chose to live off the grid and in sometimes wild and demanding condition. Clearly he was affected by the stories of a few of his subjects.
The presentation was instructive and sometimes emotional. The setting in The forum was most suitable for the event. I will return to The Forum to see future presentations now that I am. aware of what goes on.

We went to see the Manics. There was no air con and it was so uncomfortable sat there for 3 hours in what felt like a sauna.
The band were amazing, and it sounded brilliant, but we could hardly see the stage. The seating design isn't great.
No rules about filming the gig rather spoilt the evening with people holding their phones up high, obscuring the view.
We won't be returning.

My daughter and I travelled up from Cardiff.
We travelled by train and The Forum a simple 5 minute walk from station.
The Forum was hosting 'Shalamar' plus Jacqui Graham supporting....what a fab night we had!
(Yep, guess I'm old - music from the 80's)
The Forum is full of character, a magnificent old building - just like the good old days when you could go see a show and be up close and personal.
Even a lady selling ice cream from a barrow in foyer.
Everyone was dancing, no security telling us to sit down, all was just fun and lovely.
I even got my hand held and sung to by main man (Oh my beating heart!)
I was a bit concerned that we couldn't pre-order drinks for the interval but I was assured that full head of staff on-board and they didn't disappoint - Interval bar was run like clockwork, quick and efficient.
The red wine was pretty decent too and not over priced compared to other establishments nowadays.
Plus free 'help your self' to water which was a Godsend as was a tad hot after all that dancing!
There was of course the inevitable line for the 'Ladies' there's never any avoiding that wherever you go! :D
I need to give a big shout out to the awesome staff there too! They were all SO friendly and helpful.
Got shown to our seats and nothing a problem, all full of smiles which just added to us having the perfect night!
I made a quick friend in Ester - who was extra super duper!
I'm still buzzing from an awesome night in Bath, seeing a Band I love and hosted in a place which for me, was perfect!
You can keep your massive stadiums and all that hi-viz security telling you to walk on...
My experience at The Forum was most certainly a lovely 'Night to Remember!'

Jack Whitehall was great but the Forum was like a sauna! So hot I could barely concentrate on the comedy. If there is any air conditioning it certainly wasn’t working. Place needs updating.

The Forum is a magnificent venue completely let down by an amateurish overpriced bar that only serves its own brand of home made lager and wine.
The overpriced Lager resembles stagnant pond water which is not drinkable and the half bottle of wine £8 resembles liquid anti freeze.
I would suggest that anyone visiting the venue should grab a drink somewhere else before and after the show!

Lovely ornate building. Visited here to see a celebratory show which was fantastic
Had a meet & greet ticket but location at venue for queuing was unclear.
Staff are very helpful
There are lifts inside for patrons who require accessibility facilities
Would visit here again as venue is close to my place of residence.

The theatre is very old but full of character and lovely inside. We saw 80’s live and the staff in the theatre and the audience were excellent. Lovely theatre and we will return.

Hello, can anyone recommend the best seats to book?
I'm about to book for a rock concert later this year and was thinking of booking Row C, but am now wondering if this will have the higher chairs some reviewers have mentioned right in front of it?! Thus blocking the view.
Rows AA to B are still available for this concert but are cheaper so I thought these might be a bit of a neck strain looking straight up at the stage.
Any advice will be gratefully received! Thanks in advance.

Hi there
I was seated near the rear of the stalls and it was a good unimpeded view.
