Beautifully laid out gardens and the scent of the roses was heavenly. The views surrounding the gardens were idyllic and a estate house quite imposing, in a good way.

Absolutely beautiful park with a stunning rose garden. Take No notice on the website regarding the cafe. There is a very nice cafe on site and it is always open. You can n buy light lunches and cakes as well.
There is an hourly guided tour which is part of the entry price and is full of useful information given by two lovely ladies. The house was built around Tudor times and with many beautiful articles from various periods. You should allow yourself a few hours to enjoy the spectacular scenery.

Difficult driving to find the right entrance way off the main road as many confusing signs. Lovely garden but not worth the entrance fee as too small. Lovely parts and wonderful but kusy over too quickly

Such an interesting family home full of historic treasures
Our guide was superb - fun and knowledgeable
We absolutely loved the gardens - all credit to the gardeners, they are just wonderful.
Lunch under the canopies was very enjoyable, tasty home made soup and chive scone and friendly helpful staff

We went to this show today, what a waste of time and money! It is tiny comparing to the previous years. In our opinion there was not much to see there. We felt robbed, we felt it was not worth any entrance fee, let alone £10 per person. It was set in the garden, but the garden is small and this early in the year has very few blooms.

Very disappointing: £6.50 each to walk round a tent full of stuff you could mostly see in John Lewis.

A great combination of an interesting house and a stunning garden. Well worth the trip. Limited catering facilities.

Not very much on our radar but as we were members of Historic Houses and staying nearby it seemed a good idea to wile away a few hours with the weather in our favour
We were fortunate enough to have a very informative guided tour of More-Molyneux House and the outstanding rooms were Great Hall and Drawing Room with their ornate fire places.There were also priceless antiques and tapestries of note.Unfortunately no photos were allowed but it is understandably so personal demain of family as shown by very personal touches.
But really took us by surprise was the extensive walled garden cleverly divided into sections with an array of summer flowers and a rose garden still blooming but just passed its peak.Middle of June rather than early July probably best time to fully appreciate the rose garden.
The outstanding features were a large collection of hollyhocks of different colours and a white garden around a central water fountain.The cafe perfectly located to overlook it also provides an excellent light lunch freshly prepared
A walk down to a lakein front of the Tudor house brings you in touch with a large group of Canadian geese as well as Greylag geese

Very beautiful walled garden to wander around, it was peaceful and so relaxing. Entrance fee was not over the top, plenty of parking and all set in the magnificent grounds of the house. The garden was packed with plants and everything was so well cared for and wonderfully presented. The cafe in the garden gave us a chance to sit a while and enjoy hot drinks, which were very good. A very nice way to spend the last morning of our holiday.

There is no local hunt. Fox hunting is of course illegal and I assume you are referring to drag hunts? Even so there is no local hunt so it’s not an issue. As I am not the owner I have no idea what their opinion is on hunting, though the league against cruel sports does have its headquarters in Godalming, the nearest town.
Can we take a picnic to eat in the grounds

Hi I don't know if anyone can help me but I am trying to trace one of the exhibitors from one of your previous garden shows! We bought a solar powered water feature about 2/3 years ago which is great but this year (getting it into operation for the summer) we have mislaid the solar part which fits in the top! So disappointed and now can't find another part which will work. This is a long shot but would be so grateful if you have anymore information. Thanks very much Jean Pilgrim
