Absolute disgusting customer service. I was trying to book a ticket to take my girlfriend out on her birthday only to come across the most ignorant and rudest person ever. Short , dark hair , pierced, pregnant young lady with such attitude.

Pleasant and informative river ride up the Thames. Various sites were pointed out. A great short tour of the area. I probably would opt for the two-hour cruse that goes up and down the reiver behind Windor but didn't have the time.

I was part of a group on a French’s afternoon tea, two hour cruise on the Thames from Windsor on 4th May. We were able to view all the preparations for the Coronation Concert from the river. We had a lady captain, who was very efficient, informative and she and her crew were great. Friendly, helpful, smiling. We enjoyed a cream tea which was fresh and tasty. A great activity. Highly recommended.

Lovey cruise up the river, very polite staff and helpful.
Only bad point is that the £17 per person cream tea is not worth it, only get 2 small triangles sandwiches and a scone with cream butter and ham and a 2 fingers short bread oh and hot drink.
A couple years ago we got lots more in the food bit

Considering that food isn't the main focus of their business, the pre-Christmas festive lunch trip along the Thames was very good.............they really "made the effort" and delivered in all areas, thank you

An excellent way to spend 40 mins !
Arrived on the Prom and booked on the next cruise. We did ask about a bus boat trip but were told you could only book these on the busses or online.
( If doing both DO book on the bus as you save £5 per person)
The cruise itself is excellent offering a gentle trip up the Thames with tea, coffee or other drinks.
The commentary is informative and well delivered.
We all enjoyed our time on the boat.

Very relaxing trip on the river with commentary and drinks available on board. We have done the 40 minute trip a few times before so thought we would try the 2 hour one and we’re not disappointed.

This was a postponed birthday treat with 2 good friends.
We found the boat staff very efficient and polite and there was only a short delay at a lock, certainly not 40 mins as mentioned by a previous reviewer and anyway we were in a boat with tranquil views so a delay would not have been an issue ! We had previously done the downstream 2 hour trip so chose the upstream this time.
Worth mentioning that the cafe on the quay has excellent fish and chips.with a river view !

Went on the 40 minute trip up to the weir and back. Great weather and the entire experience was excellent. Good value on a summer afternoon

Is it easy/possible to take wheelchairs onboard the boats?

We sat inside the boat and in my opinion this particular section would be a little cramped for a wheelchair. You really need to contact the French Brothers as they I am sure will be able to help you in more detail

The trip we did was an hour route one way and then back along the same stretch to where you start.

Where is the nearest place to park?
Is it easy enough to board at Maidenhead with a baby and buggy?

For departures from Maidenhead Promenade you can park across the road in the pay & display next to Jenners Cafe, or the car park at Boulters Lock which is about a 3 or 4 min walk.
Babies and buggies are welcome on all our boats.
