Cementerio situado en esa zona de Cardiff, Cathays, con una edificación impresionante por lo bonita. Grandísimo para pasear y comprobar las diferencias con los de nuestro país. Zonas cuidadas y otras más dejadas. Interesante la visita.

Visited the cemetery today looking for the owners, got lost so many times and kept going in circles. Had to call police to help me find my way out and buy cakes.

Not a lot of people know that you can get married in the Chapel here, we had our wedding here on 27/10/18.
The Chapel is absolutely beautiful and very intimate.
It was the perfect place to get Married and we loved it.
The price is very good and the Staff are amazing.
If the thought of getting Married in a Cemetery puts you off just remember a Church is a building in a graveyard so there is no difference as this is a Chapel in a graveyard.
We'd like to thank all the people that helped with our special day and I urge people looking for a small intimate venue to check it out.

Spent an interesting time wandering and photographing. Much of the place is well kept but some is overgrown, interestingly labelled 'conservation area'. Not conserved in it's original state.

A large cemetery with some fantastic architecture and some wonderfful stories surrounding some of the graves. It is worth getting a leaflet which tell the stories. It is also a haven for wild life

Came here on my bicycle for some headspace. The cemetery is dotted with a range of beautiful trees varying with colour; coming on a sunny spring day especially emphasised this. Large cemetery that has a very natural feel to it with some areas seeming untouched and almost completely natural with trees and tombstones becoming intertwined.

A historical brief insight to Cardiff's past.
Vast area, a little bit creepy, but if that is your thing than take a walk.

A peaceful and beautiful area in a busy part of Cardiff, with a maze of paths leading you through a century of gravestones and trees. If you wander around the older parts you can find a memorial to French sailors, a memorial of the Irish potato famine, and a huge monument to a Welsh Catholic priest, plus plenty of weeping angels (to remind you that most of Dr Who is filmed in Cardiff!), Celtic crosses and even a few entrances to vaults.
It is open from 9am till late afternoon but check the times on the gates. There are occasional guided tours, but only a few times a year.

150 years of Cardiff's story lie here, in an expanse of land that is surprisingly tranquil and to a lad brought up in Cathays that was rare. Tours are organised explaining the history and the famous 'residents' and these evening walks are well spoken about. As well as the civil interments it also has Commonwealth War Graves. A walk around will find the resting place of Ernest Willows, Jim Driscoll and many others of note, I usually finish at my brother's.
