Fantastic history of the aerospace industry around Gloucester coupled with the knowledge and experience of the staff that volunteer and restore the museum pieces!
Was privileged to hear from the Vulcan pilot that actually flew the aircraft on site! Remarkable knowledge and fascinating to hear their stories and facts of the aircraft.
Great location at the end of the runway and benches available to sit if it’s a good day and watch the light aircraft.

Great little museum, very helpful volunteers, pity it is only open Saturday and Sundays. The Vulcan cockpit and Trident flight deck was particularly interesting. Really worth a visit.

This is a fantastic museum to visit. I am surprised it’s free entry and free parking. The staffs were all volunteers and was so helpful and wise. I visited with my 2 kids 8&6 y.o and they loved it. Puzzle games for kids was cherry on top. I will definitely visit this place again.

really liked this place had a proper community feel to it, the staff were so friendly and helpful, i have no interest in planes at all and my girlfriend has less interest than me but we were there for well over an hour and learnt a bit. The cafe was so reasonable and a million times better than any costa or starbucks

A fantastic museum with very welcoming and knowledgeable volunteers. We especially enjoyed the Trident cockpit tour, and speaking to Eric about his time as a pilot. All the exhibits are interesting and very well put together, with lots of history and stories. Even though it was mid-November, we sat outside in the sun and watched a range of aircraft come and go at the airport next door. Overall, highly recommend, and many thanks to all the volunteers.

Visited here TBH because it was free. It was WAAAYYY more interesting than I would have thought. Loads to see, lovely guides. And yes, I did leave a donation - the work the volunteers do is fabulous. I definitely recommend visiting here.

This small museum on the edge of Gloucestershire Airport concentrates on the products of the Gloster aircraft company. It is staffed by volunteers with no paid staff. They are all well-trained and very knowledgeable about the exhibits. Admission is free, and there are boxes to donate. There are model aircraft the children can sit in. There is a small friendly cafe. Only open at weekends at the moment, but well worth a visit.

We visited by chance having realised it was very close to where we were staying.
It's run completely by volunteers and very well run it is indeed. The volunteers clearly love aviation, jets, planes etc and the chat and tour in the Trident was great. Lots of interesting exhibits and plenty to see and do for all ages.
Entrance is free but donations appreciated. We paid £10 and would hope that everybody pays something as the museum deserves the support.

A small aircraft museum open Saturday's and Sunday's, great work by the volunteers.
There a few full aircrafts on display and small exhibits too, plenty of reading cards and information to divulge.
There is a kids play area, a café on site and picnic benches outside to view the runway of Gloucester Airport.
A good experience, especially for free, worth a visit.

Small but very impressive museum better than some larger and better funded collections. All the exhibits are associated with aviation in Gloucestershire and especially the Gloster aircraft company. Pride of place must go to the Game cock biplane fighter built from scratch by museum volunteers and appropriately displayed to show its construction. A visit should be combined with a trip to the historic and underrated city of Gloucester

We do also have a treasure hunt for younger visitors finding our mascot 'Piggles' to spell out a word. The children win a small prize for completing the trail. As mentioned, Biggles, our play 'plane is perfect for under 8's and our Gnat and Hunter cockpits are suitable for children.
