let me get started on gullivers hi im cheril and i have 3 children one 3 one 5 and one 8 they are my angels and we frequently attend gullivers land or just gullivers and it IS quite an emotional place there are rides for all the kids and nice places to eat one thing i do have to say negatively is the cleanliness and the decor of the eateries located inside the castle and the mascot and prices are quite affordable in the park there are a few thrilling rides for my eldest and some tamer ones for my middle and youngest child honestly amazing days and love the rides and themes 9.5/10 would recommend and go again

Gulliver's Meadow Campsite Fab campsite. Really clean showers and toilets. Fab staff, really helpful. Fab location even if you don’t go to Gulliver's. Lovely canal paths and parks. Really nice meal in the pub next door, called Warbler something.

Such a great park! My 7 and 6 year old nephews thoroughly enjoyed their day here with a variety of rides to choose from. All the staff we encountered were brilliant. A big shout out to Ryan who was amazing when one of the kids had a last minute wobble on Jungle Falls. He persuaded him to try it and he absolutely loved it, venturing on it another 9 times! Queuing was minimal, several food options available and entertaining show at opening time all for a very reasonable price.

We stayed in the Dino Den in the Adventurer's Village. I expected it to be small but be warned, it really is as small as you think! Luckily I was with my two young children so fit ok. The floor of the den could have done with a proper clean; bits everywhere and the 'double' bed for the grown ups clearly had not been put back into a sofa for some time as it hadn't been wiped underneath. But overall it was ok for one night.
Gulliver's Land itself is good. My children loved it, it's designed for young children so it was perfect for them. Rides are a little dated but they didn't care about that! We went in Feb half term when there was only one food outlet open and the queue time was ridiculously long for what should be 'fast food'. Once we got the food it was alright but almost not worth the wait and it is pricey for what it is. We brought our own food for lunch on the second day.
Overall it is a good place to go with young children, if they are over 90cm then they can pretty much go on everything. The queues for the rides themselves weren't too long!

We did an over night stay in a jungle safari cabin in Feb half term. I was pleasantly surprised. After reading bad reviews I wasn’t expecting much, the accommodation was spacious, warm and clean, it had all the essentials you needed, fridge, microwave, crockery glassware and cutlery. The location was beautiful opposite the lake. The only reason I’ve not given it 5 stars is I feel nothing is explained before you go, like where to check in, how far is the car park, opening times of restaurant and what they serve. The staff could do with a bit more customer service, we weren’t asked how our stay was and nothing was explained on arrival, I had to ask all the questions. The theme park was cute, my 8 and 6 yr old loved it, although they have both been on much bigger rides they still enjoyed it for what it was. The staff are a little slow on the rides but they are thorough which is good from the safety side of things.
I think this place will be lovely in the summer and warm weather, there is a little play park right but the safari tents and they do a fire pit and a movie most nights but we didn’t attend.

Come for weekend with family I found park very over priced on every thing such as food like a happy meal was like nearly 7 pound adult meal 9 pound …. Disgusting foood we had go out for food even drinks at restaurant and food was disgusting very expensive 😡😡😡
The stafff absolutely rude even the restaurant girls and park ice cream wonman …. Some staff were actually quite decent specially one ov the managers …not one the ginger hair

I really have no idea why some reviews are so bad . We booked a short break before reading them and decided we would just make the best of it .
I have stayed in a wide range of accommodation from 5* + to a tent and this was great for small
Children .
The park was clean, well
Maintained and tidy with friendly and helpful staff. A good range of rides for little children which meant they had a lovely time . Lots of play areas as well
As rides meant plenty of things to keep them occupied .
We stayed in the castle accommodation . Which had
Plenty of bright white, comfy bedding and fluffy towels. All very clean and themed . We looked through the windows of other accommodation and all looked great .
We also had the light show and walked around the dinosaur and farm parks, so added value
I would say if you have small children who love rides and like themed accommodation, go for it .

Visited with my almost 5 year old and 8 year old daughters. 1st day of opening and had special offer tickets. Plenty of parking. The park looks tired and in need of refreshing round mist parts. The bouncing boots ride was closed as bring repainted so hopefully they are working their way round. Grand prix rollercoaster was closed. Surprised the 3 water ride were open with it being so cold. The kids had a great time. The shop only had 1 staff member and she could've done with some help to deal with the queue forming. Most staff on the rides looked bored and unengaging (they should visit adventure Island in Southend to see how great the staff interact on the rides). The lady on the castle ride and the lady on gullivers travels were great though. The toilets needed che king more often as they were dirty and no paper (however the dirtyness is mainly due to people not flushing and leaving smelly messes!!). The guy selling the balloons needs a raise! So happy and energetic. My girls wanted balloons but as we left we couldn't see him to get any.

The park is very tired looking it needs gone serious money being spent to revive it, the statutes around the park are either broken and missing parts or the paint is flaking off them altogether. The roller coaster at one point felt very unstable, I was worried it would fall. The rides are generic and of the same type as well as their being rides breaking down alot or even closures of newer ones for maintenance. The mine ride had bits broken on it and the sound no longer working inside the carts. The ride times are so short, after waiting for 30 mins in a queue you only spend less the two mins on the ride itself. The toilets have low water pressure like the rest of the park meaning that they don’t flush well, along with a number of cubical closed for use including the disabled one according to staff they have not been working a while. It was horrible to see the mess from the purple and white balloon ride when riding up high behind the fence at the rear of the park by the canal. Not much to rave about. It’s not worth the money and I think aimed at kids under 7 years old which is a shame. Built in 1997 it’s have little done to it to bring it to anymore then a 1 star review. It’s generally not worth the money.

Disappointed went there with 5 kids and only 2 was aloud on rides alone and I could only go on with 1 so I had un happy kids having to wait for me to get off rides queues were ridiculous staff was unpleasant and half the park was closed played £108 just to enter total waste of money park was also totally run down and at end of day there was a queue at the reception making complaints witch were not heard and not resolved

Do you have to eat at the restaurants or can you get food from outside of the park or order just-eat (or other takeaway delivery companies) if you are staying overnight? (sorry just read plenty of reviews about the food not being great and expensive).

We brought our own picnic which is not a problem and there are plenty of benches and areas where you can eat. The food did seem expensive in the cafes. I am not sure about ordering in but you can definitely bring food in from outside yourself.

Yes you can, but check your booking (or ring site to confirm). I booked via Pitch-up and thought my booking included 2 cars. On arrival, I was told only 1.

Also don’t know how young they are the bunk is pretty high, my 5 year old loved it, but 3 year old didn’t like climbing the ladder etc
