Was in Paris and went with Go Self Tours, an excellent way to see Paris and with the Sat Nav telling you about the area you are in at the time with Historic facts as well. The staff are very professional and easy to contact. It was lovely to have a link sent to us by email of our experience, perfect touch and a lasting memory.

Overall the experience was fun and the car easy to drive,however, the car was worn out with the left rear mirror broken down which the staff commented to be useless and that no single car actually has both rear mirrors. I think it could easily lead to accidents without the proper equipments. The gps worked out fine for us but the despite the maximum volume it was difficult to hear the direction from the gps due to the surrounding noises coming all over (our cars had their Windows taken out ). The ipad which was supposed to show us the nearby attractions was slow and insensitive and very often only showed the attractions after we had passed by. It was not automatic and you need to press play button when the attraction icon showed up and very often we were busy looking at the gps and didn't know that we have already passed by some tourist spots that may be worth getting off the car and have a look. We have spent extra money to get the video which we believed may give us a good memory. However the video was incomplete . We drove for an hour but the video was only 30 mins. We have chosen the montmarte trail and the trip driving to Montmarte was lost and only the return journey was sent to us. We have sent email to enquire about the completeness of the video and to see whether they had some technical problem that they forgot to send us the other video but there was no reply at all. In fact before booking the car we have also had some enquiries that were sent through their website but again not getting any reply at all. I think they should have better maintenance of their car and improve their customer service.

We would like to thank you for sharing your experience with Go Self Tours. We are very sorry to hear about all those difficulties you met and can only regret it was un incomplete experience for you.
We have been aware of a few problems with the rear mirrors, we're happy to inform you, as well as our future customers that all our vehicles are equipped with both rear mirrors now.
Concerning the volume of GPS, we are glad to inform you that the old speakers have been replaced with the new, more strong once, which are already integrated inside the vehicles and finally we have improved our video system, from now on, the filming is going to match with the number of our tour hours.
We are aware of our tablets not been automatic for safety reasons, as we prefer our clients to stop, a car, press a play bottom and enjoy the stories in the most innovative way with mini photo and video reports.
We are deeply attached to get our customers satisfied. This is why most of our clients name our Go-SelfTours as " A brilliant fun", we sincerely hope we can get a second chance and welcome you again in our beautiful city for an unforgettable driving experience this time

First, the people who work here were very nice and tried hard. I think they may be desperate for customers, but their technology just doesn't work. In retrospect, we should have been worried that they spent about 15 mins. trying to set up the navigation tablets, and that there were rows of unused cars outside the store. We were 4 adults and 2 kids, and we rented three cars. The GPS tablets were a complete failure. I took the lead, and my GPS immediately sent us all down a one-way street. I cut back to the storefront, where they confirmed that it wasn't working and brought me a new tablet. That one turned out to have no volume, so I kept having to look down while driving. Two of us had tablets that kept saying "turn left" when the directions on the map indicated a right turn, and vice versa. So we spent about 90 minutes shooting off in different directions and then trying to find each other again. Ended up using our own cell phones, and navigating with Waze to get back to the store. (Make sure you have some global data if you go on this adventure!) We didn't see any attractions. Luckily French drivers are not like New York drivers, or this could have been very dangerous. Also, the cars were boiling hot and there are no windows to roll down. We complained at the end, but were given no credit back. They did send us video footage, which had no tourist value at all, but which provided some slapstick humor once enough time had passed for us to forget how much time and money we had wasted. Also, they use their own software to play the video footage, which runs in 10 sec bursts and is difficult to enjoy or convert into a usable format.

We would like to thank you for sharing your experience with Go Self Tours. We are very sorry to hear about all those difficulties you met and can only regret it was un uncomplete experience for your family and yourself.
We have been aware of a few technical issues with GPS tablets, but never got so many problems at once, so sorry it had to happen to you.
We give our customers comments a great credit, and since you had this unfortunate experience, we made a few changes that should really help avoid those problems in the future. Indeed, we can control any navigation device directly from the office in case of a technical failure like the one you experienced. Moreover, doors have been taken off, so that our customers can enjoy fresh air on their faces while visiting this wonderful city, and anyway, our air conditionned systems have all been revised, also, we provide our customers with free WiFi, So they do not use their own package.
We also deeply regret you did not enjoy the video, we truly believed you might appreciate this gift as most of our customers do.
We are deeply attached to get our customers satisfied, this is why we sincerely hope we can get a second chance and welcome you again in our beautiful city for an unforgettable driving experience this time

Not in a million years would I believe I would drive the streets of Paris while sight seeing!! The vehicle is like an electric golf cart on steroids.... And so cute that locals and tourists stop and wave. The best part is .....taxi's actually yield in round-abouts!!!
Get in on this brand new way of touring Paris while it is still a novelty, the day was a total blast! The GPS is preprogrammed with tour routes, and synchronized with video presentations!!!! I can not recommend the company high enough to do justice to the experience.

This is so much fun and a great way to see the city! Big hit with our 11 and 15 year olds who are not the "tour" type. Easy to drive and we felt very safe. We got lots of looks and a few comments too. I would highly recommend it! Very friendly staff too.

First of all, we would like to thank you for choosing our Go-SelfTours during your stay in Paris. As well, we wish to thank you for taking the time to share your comments on Tripadvisor. We are delighted to know that you enjoyed discovering Paris with our sweet-cars.
We really feel sorry to read you had some little problem with GPS. Our biggest aim is to satisfy all our customers and a new system has been set up. The possibility to parameter the device from a distance in case adjustment is needed. This permits us to stay in contact with the customers permanently.

We found this company through our hotel website and thought it looked brilliant fun. We booked the 3.5 hour grand tour and had a great laugh. We saw all the sights. Great GPS directions and a guided tour with speaker. Would recommend this to anyone. Thank you Joel!

Apres avoir choisit notre parcours nous voila partit dans ce petit véhicule franchement pratique pour circuler et stationner et avec les explications des différents lieux et points stratégiques durant notre parcours .je vous le recommande c est fun et abordable . on vous regarde comme si vous étiez en Ferrari tellement le concept est novateur .. merci a l équipe de goselftours pour ce superbe moment ..

We didn't know what to expect, but definitely we loved it!
The only problem as a stranger in Paris is the lack of knowledge of traffic and circulation rules in this big city. Moreover, we wanted to stop at several points of attraction to take photos, but didn't really know where we were allowed to stop, so we may have missed some of the fun.
