I went riding as the least experienced rider amongst my peers and as such hired an e bike to deal with the hills and pace. It made a huge difference for me, but Mathieu was very patient with everyone to make sure we had the most enjoyable experience. He genuinely wanted everyone to have the best time, safely and reliably, even with advice on the weather and best use of our time. Highly recommended for all riders of all abilities.

Great service from Mathieu, went the extra mile to ensure we had a great time. Great well mainained bikes and kit. great experience can 100% recommend. We hired over 2 days and the maps, kamoot integration and local knowledge was second to none.

The owner (Mathieu) is very friendly and professional, he'll make sure you're riding on the bike that suits you best, providing instruction and tips along your track. The prices are fair and the shop is located a few meters from the Island in Avignon. The bikes were in very good condition (regular and E-bike).

Mathieu provided very good bikes that exceeded our expectations, at a very good price. He even offered for free additional services such as letting us use helpful accessories for free, or giving us advice on good routes and even suggesting some tailor-made routes on an App. This was indeed very important, as it was our first long bike trip as a family of four.
Both meetings at South Spirit Bike - when collecting the bikes, and when giving them back - were very pleasant. Mathieu and his team are very reliable and they provide excellent service.
We can highly recommend South Spirit Bike rental!
(By the way: We are a family of four, and we were doing a two-week bike trip throughout the Provence in July, at temperatures well above 35 degrees. The high temperatures were actually not really a problem. We got up early, and with good bikes and good advice, we would certainly do this bike trip again, it was a wonderful experience.)

We spent 12 days in Avignon and rented bikes from South Spirit Bikes. Very well run shop, Bikes ran very well, Peter had great trail maps and gps for guidance. His shop is very close to the Pope Palace so convenient and easy to find. Loved his gel seat cover and the panniers to avoid taking a back pack. If looking for a reliable bike shop this is your shop!

Very organized and helpful bike shop owner provided us high quality bikes and wonderful suggestions for day tours based on the distances and activities we wanted to do each day. The prices were very reasonable and even felt too cheap for the personalized service we receive for our group of 5. He has great GPS tracks for tours/rides on Kamoot and recommended awesome places to visit and eat. It was very appreciated that he went over everything in English and even gave us a physical map for each of our rides. We kept returning to this shop every day we were in Avignon.

We rented two bikes and received additional tour recommendations, map, saddlebag and locks. Bikes were available in large variety and in prime condition. Very friendly service. Great experience.

Top quality customer service from the guy running this place. Open friendly service. Good instructions and equipment and not expensive.
Plenty easy places to explore. We did half a day and went around the wall, the island and Villeneuve.

A fantastic person to do business with , Matthew is the most knowledgeable and reliable guy who will go overboard to make sure everything in your rental is perfect!! I would look no further than South Spirit bike rental during your visit to Avignon . I rented an electric bike for two weeks at a very fair price and had fantastic fun !!

Hello,
We are open every day from April to October.
Our prices for the self guided tours or e-bike rental are 28€ for a half-day or 36€ for a full day. We propose tours for more than 1 day too. The price include water, helmet, bike lock, GPS if necessary and road assistance. Delivery is optional.
Then, we also have historical guided tours bilingual of the city of Avignon and Villeneuve ranging from 29€ to 38€.
We recommend to book in advance to be sure we can accommodate you. Check our website to make a reservation.

Buenos dias,
los precios por los GPS TRIP son de 28€ por el medio dia y 36€ por un dia completo. Los precios incluyen agua, cascos, antirrobo y assistancia. Por ejemplo, una rueda pinchada substituimos su bicicleta gratiz.
Los GPS son especiales, porque hay que entrar un recorrido y no una destinacion. Significa que les hacen ir por rutas elegidas por nosotros para estar seguro que son agradables para ustedes. Pueden ir en las vignas o en el campo sin equivocarse.
Tambien si tiene mas tiempo tenemos circuitos de dos o mas dias por mas aventura.
