We’ve had many private guides and highly recommend spending the $ to make the most of your trip, and Henry was not only worth every Euro, but one of the very best we’ve had anywhere and THE BEST in Germany.
He is knowledgeable and bright, but has an easy, comfortable way about him. He not only informed us of the local history and culture, but shared many laughs and stories with us giving us a most enjoyable 1/2 day with him.
He also kindly walked us in several local establishments to give us a glimpse; plus, he even helped set our reservation for dinner later that night at the Kulturbrauerei Heidelberg. We enjoyed the traditional German meal, drinks, and atmosphere at a very reasonable price.
Henry toured us through all the major tourist sites, but also escorted us into a number of behind the scenes locales that helped us better understand and appreciate Heidelberg. These were simply places we never would have found on our own.
We highly recommend the highly knowledgeable and personable Henry for tours in Heidelberg or anywhere else he will take a group.
