Spectacular visit to the park of Cabárceno.

The visit to the park was spectacular, it has been in the off-season, not so many visitors have not queued to see the animal areas. I recommend making the visit with Exploring Cantabria, as you are picked up at the door of the hotel and brought back. The guide Pepe wonderful, makes the explanations very enjoyable and I who have reduced mobility helped me to get off and into the van, is very attentive.

You can't miss it if you like the story
One of the best experiences we've ever had.If you like history you have to come to know what life was like for man millions of years ago as he survived, as his hands began to call,the game animals
You have to book, I think they only leave 7 people per visit

A good time and a good tour!!!

A really good tour with a great tour guide. It was more than I expected but I wished we had more time to see the church next to the Gaudi house

Fantastic trip and guide!!

The Picos de Europa and Potes trip from Santander was fantastic. I was initially hesitant to book as I had never done anything like this, but it was one of the best things we did while in Spain. The whole trip was so easy and enjoyable. The guide was great, and gave us lots of information about all the places we saw along the way (in Spanish and English). He was also easy to get along, funny, and kept us on schedule. After the trip was over, I realized I left a bag at one of the locations and they contacted the cafe and picked the bag up for me on their next trip. Truly above and beyond, and it meant so much to me to get the bag back. We really recommend the trip and the guide!

A great day
We spent the afternoon with the whole family, the children were delighted, and so were we.the circuit does this by car and we park at different parking to see the animals.
Enclosures are huge for animal welfare
A very good memory

Great itinerary, great guide
I signed up for a tour in English and only discovered, at the moment I was picked up, that the rest of the group was monolingual Spanish so the whole tour would be in Spanish. My Spanish was not good enough to follow most of the narrative and there was no possible way for the guide to convey all the information in both languages. She was very obliging but the tour operator had put her in an impossible position. That being said, the itinerary was excellent (though an hour free time in Santillana was too much for a very rainy day). The Altamira “neocave” is well worth seeing and the guide had a lot to show and tell about it. She was obviously well informed and enthusiastic.

Great tour to see a stunning view and the caves

Have seen a recent review which noted a bad experience, I’m glad to say our experience was entirely different and found it all very positive and a good way to see the caves . Good trip and lovely guide Gabriella who had a wealth of knowledge. We had a minibus to the caves and they added in a quick viewing stop on the way which was great( added a picture below). No pictures in the cave as this is not allowed . Lovely group and smooth transition.

The tour guides speak amazing English, which we are grateful for as we cannot speak Spanish. But be mindful that the guides do not come into the caves as it says the tour in the cave is in Spanish. This is stated in the information so we should have brushed up on some Spanish before . However despite this, the guide made every effort to give us all the information beforehand and were able to enjoy the caves.

We did multiple trips with this company and have had a great experience each time , so mucho grasias again!

Amazing caves

Paid for this as a tour so that we got an English translation. Great to see the cave formations and hear some of the history discovered. Went to see both caves both have cave drawings dating back to 40k years ago.(various stages)
Can be slippery as ground is wet. Amazing to see it. No photos allowed and you may not get to see it in a few years time as it’s a UNESCO site and we are contaminating the site by our visits.

Great tour and lovely guide

The tour was great and got to see lots of sights. The guide was able to discuss in Spanish and English and gave us details to everything happening that day. Lots of driving so be mindful of this, but that is needed to get out to the sights ! Thankyou

An essential walk in Asturias

It was a nice walk, the peaks of Europe is a park rich in mountain landscapes, the interesting part of the walk is to take the funicular that takes you to the top of the mountain where are the best views, the stay there is short and you will be eager to walk but you will enjoy the landscapes, for this it is important that there is no cloud or mist, the weather is important to enjoy the walk. The guide helped us get tickets to the funicular in advance, and having a scheduled hour of ascent, otherwise and with so many tourists would have been impossible. Thank you!
Potes is a nice village with everything: nice streets, nice houses, a river, bridges, forest, restaurants and souvenir shops.
