It's a wonderful department store with really helpful & friendly assistants.
The foodhall in the basement is lovely.
Great cafe on the top floor.
Many things to buy are great prices - much more affordable than in the UK.
I highly recommend it - very Spanish and really lovely!

Other than taking my money, which they do perfectly, everything always goes wrong.
Most recently not unlike all my experiences with them, but the last time I have shopped at El Corte Ingles, they:
- attempted to deliver a piece of furniture to the wrong address. I called them 5 (!!!!!!) different times to tell them they are sending the delivery company to the wrong place and 5 times they told me they fixed the issue. Every time I'd get a call the next day informing me that the product is out for delivery to the wrong address
- the product that arrived was abysmal. Truly cheaply made, several shades different from the pictures and incredibly uncomfortable
- I called to arrange return, request registered. 2 weeks and another 5 phone calls later nobody picked up with product
- I go into a store to talk to a human face to face and I am informed that the product is "personalized" and they do not intend on returning it
- This is just a straight up lie. It's a product I purchased with 3 clicks and got delivered within a week
- So now I am stuck with a massive piece of furniture I do not want in my house, and is so cheaply made I cannot resell
Just don't give them your money. Spend it with someone who is invested in their customer's joy using their products.

Más recientemente, no muy diferente a todas mis experiencias con ellos, pero la última vez que compré en El Corte Inglés:
- intentó entregar un mueble en la dirección equivocada. Los llamé 5 (!!!!!!) veces diferentes para decirles que estaban enviando la empresa de entrega al lugar equivocado y 5 veces me dijeron que solucionaron el problema. Cada vez que recibía una llamada al día siguiente informándome que el producto estaba disponible para entrega en la dirección incorrecta
- el producto que llegó fue pésimo. Hecho realmente barato, varios tonos diferentes a los de las imágenes e increíblemente incómodo
- Llamé para concertar devolución, solicitud registrada. 2 semanas y otras 5 llamadas telefónicas después, nadie recogió el producto
- Entro a una tienda para hablar con un humano cara a cara y me informan que el producto es "personalizado" y no tienen intención de devolverlo
- Esto es sólo una pura mentira. Es un producto que compré con 3 clics y lo recibí en una semana
- Así que ahora tengo un mueble enorme que no quiero en mi casa y está hecho a un precio tan bajo que no puedo revenderlo
Simplemente no les des tu dinero. Gástelo con alguien que esté interesado en que sus clientes disfruten al usar sus productos.

El Corte Inglés ON LINE is a disaster in terms of logistics. There are already several orders with long delay and not knowing when I will receive it; the return management is abysmal too. Nothing to do with what the Cut was in its day, compensates to buy in the official brands

Last July I made an online purchase in El Corte Inglés, coinciding with the sales and unfortunately it was a real disaster.
They didn't have the items ordered, just one, not warning about it and I only received an email for one of the cancelled items... the other arrived and a last one that never arrived and was in permanent preparation until I could cancel it on the advice of an operator...
Customer service is unresolving, they do not know what to say or do...
No one has solved the error and worse, I had a discount voucher that was applied to me and now not having the products to deliver them has disappeared the bonus of around 26 € that have partially discounted... a theft and not a single adequate response in order to help and solve.
I will never buy online in C.I. And with the purchase card of the same C.I.
Watch out because no one takes responsibility and they give long, bad answers.
I feel scammed and without guarantees even a small amount, so I will not fall for future errors!!

Shipping delay of more than two weeks!!
I bought some duvets online on August 8, with guaranteed delivery between August 12 and 16.
Two weeks later, today, September 1, I still have not received the order despite having made two claims, one on the 22nd and one on the 29th. And they haven't contacted me to give me any information either.
Nefarious tracking service, very disappointed with the support received.
And I'm still waiting...

The online sale is a real mess, it just doesn’t work, its system is chaotic, organization is nonexistent, web products that do not have stock, continuous delays in delivery dates (if they even deliver it). You don’t know who to claim, they pass the ball from one to another, customer service is a real joke. It can't be worse on purpose. Unbelievable that a company like El Corte Inglés, has not been able to adapt to the times in which the "buy in physical store" is dying, like them, which are gradually disappearing!!!

Dismal customer service. They took over the order and I never received it. They have requested the same data 3 times and have not resolved it. I have come to the Customer Service office and in these cases they can do NOTHING, they lucky me. Outsourcing of management.
Zero professionalism. In my case total distrust and helplessness. They still don't give me a solution.

I have been trying for more than 20 days to return some items that, besides coming to me outside the dates I was told, there is no human way to get the return. Not by phone, not by web, not by chat, not by mail... nothing. Either they tell you that you are done, that you will receive the label for the return, or that the courier will go through it, or that at this time they cannot meet the request. And that's how we've been all month. The worst part is that this is not the first time it has happened to me, so you will spend the month and they will charge me what they have sold me and I want to return. It will be my turn to move an hour away from my house, to another location, to be able to return the items. They're a mess. I hope that it will soon fall and die a brand that was a symbol of prestige in its day, that ate Precious Galleries and that now is not good either in attention, neither in products nor in quality, because less and more expensive. I will never shop at El Corte Inglés again.

The experience has been on the web, not in person.
My "adventure" began in July, although it has lasted until August 13.
On the web I bought a Philips superautomatic coffee machine.
Arrived ahead of schedule (point in his favour).
When I go to assemble it I see that the water filter is missing.
I call customer service and they open a case, and here begins my "adventure" because between calls and emails weeks passed. Since I was interested in price, from the beginning I asked for an exchange, not a refund.
Customer service has been good or very good, except for a single case, from a poorly educated person.
The thing is that they picked up the machine and after many days, I finally decided to ask for the refund.
The saddest thing is that at MediaMarkt I saw the same model in my city at a similar price and I bought it. There I have learned that the water filter does not come in some models, like the one I purchased.
That is to say: the ineptitude of El Corte Inglés was not in the people who answer the phone, but in the person who did not do his job analyzing the case and informing that the model acquired is not included.
It would have saved me calls, e-mails and bummers.
Council: DO NOT BUY at all on the El Corte Inglés website.

Most of the products I wanted to buy were without an Award and when you look for those responsible most of them answer anything and icing on the cake the type of tax free that yells at me like I work at him nothing really disappointed

EL Corte Inglés tiene muchas ventajas pero el servicio de venta Online es malisimo, eso si también compara el precio, y de envidia nada. Felices fiestas.

desde el dia 15 hasta el dia 19, reclamando que solo me ha llegado una parte del envio, el corte ingles me dice que ya esta en la agencia de reparto y que me ponga en contacto con ellos, cuando me pongo en contacto con la agencia me dicen que no existe el envio, asi 4dias de llamadas a unos numeros y otros, lo que supone un gasto para mi y una perdida de tiempo ya que eso es su trabajo, buscar el envio estraviado. Muy mal gestionado.mi pedido sigue pagado y sin aparecer, ni nadie me da una solucion
