Good communication. Excellent staff support. We were late. A staff member escorted us to catch up with our group. The guide was well informed, went at a good pace, and left us time to view on our own at key spots.

Fab city all main attractions worth a visit plus the smaller ones and the churches on every street, food excellent if you like pasta and pizza especially, drink not to bad either. Very easy to walk around once you get your bearings, Italians very friendly. i would recommend the bus in from the airport as very cheap and stops and the main Bus/train station.

Easy to find ticket station - and the train.
Less than an hour ride from airport to central station

We recently took a one way train from Termini to Fiumicino- if using the ticket machine - MAKE SURE THAT YOUR DATE IS CORRECT- the ticket machine defaulted to the following day ( instead the current travel day-of what you would expect )
If you have an incorrect ticket- you will get a $64 Euro fine per ticket- so what should have been a $28 Euro fare for two cost us $156 Euro
To me this is done on purpose at the ticket machine , as a cash grab

We had a fantastic time, very well organized. Priscilla our tour guide was so knowledgeable and experienced. Her enthusiasm for sharing that was evident. Every step of the tour was interesting and amazing. I would definitely recommend

A nice idea, in 30 min from the airport to the center of Rome.
Sure, a few euros more expensive, but just fast....
Yes, first of all, things are very different. In addition, I almost wanted to buy the ticket online. Luckily wisely, the railway workers went on strike on a Sunday !!! Total chaos at the airport. Somehow, however, tens of different buses ran for less than 8 euros.
The return trip I wanted to be smart, ticket booked 18 euros (3 euros advance purchase fee). You have to know that the train at Ternini always stops at gate 23 or 24. You also have to consider getting on the right train. Leonardo isn't just Leonardo. It happened to me that, I was driving a delayed train earlier, and the rip-off trap was snapped shut.
Schaffner clarified and I had to pull another 50 euros fine. Also, not everyone knows, as well, that the ticket must necessarily be validated at the beginning of a journey, otherwise are also black drivers. The system is a ploy... you hope for tens of ignorant tourists. On my train, the conductor had collected enough "so-called black drivers" again. Never again would I sit on that rip-off train. The German ticket page probably deliberately does not draw attention to the intricacies.... You have to sit on the right train at exactly the time, and the trains run every 30min, but delayed trains of course mess everything up.....

Highly recommended, go with the guided tour and you’ll not miss any of the amazingly historic story about it. The leader was knowledgeable and full of sense of humour and made it fun for the the team.

All I can say is , I highly recommend this Tour group,!they’re kind and accommodating. ( I didn’t get her name). They respond to your queries on time and with flexibility to your circumstances. We’ve had a wonderful time at the Vatican, we are so grateful for this once in a lifetime opportunity to see such a historic and meaningful place, thank you for accommodating us in this tour.

I took the Leonardo express to the airport and it was very easy and efficient. Used the ticket machine and as it runs every 30 minutes was even able to jump unto an earlier train after checking with the staff. Today was rainy, so it was good to get directly into the airport terminal. At 14euro per adult also cheaper than a taxi plus no traffic.

I would like to know exactly how strenuous is the Tivoli trip with respect to walking up hills or stairs?

I would say moderately strenuous, mainly because of the gardens at Villa d'Estes. Hadrian's Villa is on a hilltop which you access by walking up a paved road. Our tour stopped near the top of the hill for a brief history and overview of the villa. The rest of that tour was fairly easy. The tour of Villa d'Estes is more strenuous. The villa is situated on the hillside and the gardens go down from it. You can choose how far down you go, but the only way back to the villa is up the hill, which includes a lot of steps. Once you are back at the villa, there is an elevator which will take you from the terrace level to the exit level, but climbing back from the bottom of the gardens is challenging. Our guide offered to let us wander the gardens at our leisure and meet back at the terrace later. That gave people who needed more time to navigate the hillside the opportunity to do so at their own pace.

Hello, I booked a 1:45 English tour for "Colosseum and Ancient Rome Small-Group Walking Tour Including Pantheon and Piazza Navona" on October 8th. I can't seem to find the address where the tour will be meeting. The departure point is simply listed as "Central Rome". Is it possible for me to get an exact address? Thanks so much!

The office is on the street to the right of the rail station Termini but I would think that a coliseum tour would meet at the coliseum. Call the number on the voucher or email them. They answer very quickly.
