We booked the cruise, having done similar on the Thames. We had expected a good ride and a good trip.
The jumping on and off points are very difficult to find. We got lost but eventually found them by accident. The boat was OK but the multi-lingual commentary did not materialise.
The most depressing part of it, is you saw the graffiti and vandalism up close. Rome seems to be utterly covered in it. Also the numbers of people sleeping rough on the banks need to be seen to be believed.
Basically do it if you must, but not worth the bother.

You eat, drink, pay, and they lock your toilets with confidence that threatens you with going out.
After eating and drinking we were ordered to do the toilets at the bars to trastevere.
An outlawed and unregulated shame.
Closing the bathrooms is not what.possible.
A disgrace.

River of the Capital, it accompanies its bridges to offer the visitor memorable views and suitable for all kinds of souvenir photos. On its riverfront it is possible to run in several sections and there are companies for its navigation. Present near its shores also local.

The Tiber River is Rome’s great river, running through the centre of the city and is crossed by more than 30 bridges.
One of the fun things to do in summer is to head down to the river bank. A long line of white tents is set up alongside the river, with pop-up bars, food, games and stalls.
Most of the activity happens in the evening when the lights sparkle across the water. However some of the bars are also serving drinks in the afternoon. We sat at one little bar that had lounge chairs spread out on the waters edge and looked down the river towards the Bridge of Angels and the Vatican in the distance.
The tents generally start to appear in early June and I believe that they last through the summer until the end of August.
Lungo Il Tevere - touted as a carnival, but just lots of tents with food and rinks, some selling market type goods
Sets of stairs lead down to the river bank at pretty regular intervals so it is easy to access the riverbank.

Linked to the history of the city, since Romulus and Remus were abandoned on its shore before being rescued by the she-wolf. It is the third longest river in Italy at almost 400 kilometers long. Rome suffered serious flooding due to its overflows. We were able to take some beautiful photos from the San't Angelo Bridge and have some good views.

When heading southwest from Piazza Navona to Trastevere, I crossed the Tiber River on the Sisto Bridge.
The Sisto Bridge is over 100 meters long and made of stone, making it a very quaint bridge. The view of the Tiber River from this bridge was also very atmospheric, and it took me about five minutes to cross the bridge.
When crossing the Tiber River as it meanders through Rome, I recommend paying attention to bridges.

This time, on a very late evening, cold but clear, walking along the Tiber offered plays of light, reflections on the water... passing an autumn tree-lined avenue which is a spectacle of nature in the city! Sometimes we don't they are words to describe what you observe and this is the case! Rome is always wonderful everywhere! 💖

We liked our walk along the tiber/lungotevere in the shadow of the old trees. Watch your step, because "sidewalks" are dangerous in some places.
Some good options for picture taking ... (bridges, castel San Angelo ...).

Many bridges cross the Tiber River. You can get some fine shots of bridges or from bridges ie Castel Sant'Angelo. Not a wide river, a different perspective might be cruising along it.

The Tiber River runs through the centre of Rome, with the Vatican, Castel Sant Angelo and Trastevere on one side and the city and Colosseum on the other side.
The river is criss-crossed by bridges, some of them many centuries old.
The most famous and most beautiful bridge, with the Bernini angels is Ponte Sant Angelo. Built originally in 135AD by Emperor Hadrian, the Archangel Michael is said to have appeared here at the top of Castel Sant’Angelo, thereby ending the plague of 590AD.
Another charming bridge is Ponte Sisto, with the distinctive circular hole in the centre.
I particularly like the bridges of Ponte Fabricio and Ponte Cestio which link the ancient Jewish Quarter and Trastevere. They meet in the middle of the river on Tiber Island.
The other significant bridge to know about is Ponte Umberto I . It’s not special in its own right but it has the perfect position for taking a magical photo of the sunset with a Vatican and St. Peter's Basilica backdrop.
