Brilliant boat hire! We were torn between a private ‘wooden’ boat charter or hiring one of these modern boats ourselves and I’m so glad we did - Very reasonably priced as the boats are in great condition, comfy cushions, and the staff were brilliant - easy to coordinate with via whatsapp ahead of arrival (definitely book ahead), easy to find at the end of the tree-lined lakefront, and we had a great time! We did 2 hours hire but honestly we’d have preferred 3 hours so I recommend doing that. Boat was perfect and roomy with two of us but imagine it would still be spacious with four or more!

Under new management since the pandemic, Bellagio Rent a Boat is run by a lovely couple who make the whole experience fun and easy.
We pre-booked before our trip and decided on a five hour rental which was perfect. It's amazing how quickly the time goes. We enjoyed swimming off the boat in a secluded spot and eating our picnic bobbing around on the water. You get a completely different vista of this stunning lake from a boat, its well worth it. Even if you haven't driven a boat before, the instructions and demo from the owner are super simple to follow so don't worry about that side of it. Just go and enjoy!

Visited Lake Como for a week in July. We rented a boat from Rent a boat Bellagio by the Lido club along the promenade for 3 hours.
Staff were really welcoming, quick 5 minute demo of the boat to make sure we were happy, and a quick suggested itinerary and map.
Had a blast, best way to see the Lake and towns. Would have extended to 4 hours! Great boat, clean. Would definitely come back!

What a fantastic way to spend a couple of hours! Thoroughly recommended. The owner put us at ease and gave us a demo of the boat before we set off. He was friendly and relaxed. A unique way to explore Lake Como. We did the 2 hour trip but could have easily enjoyed 4 hours.

Although I couldn't make it to Lake Como for this activity, they were an absolute pleasure to deal with when initially organizing this so I am leaving a 5-star review for prompt communication and follow-up. Hope to see you next time!

I booked in advance, such a great experience, run by a lovely professional couple… 3 hours spent chilling out, swimming in the lake and exploring some of the famous homes on the lake. 100% you have to do this, easy 5 min walk from the town…

Excellent experience from beginning to end. Responded to an email enquiry in good time and confirmed booking. Website very informative and easy to use.
Arrived 10 mins before, paperwork sorted and a quick explanation of how to work the boat. Itinerary suggested, which worked very well.
Highly recommended!

Amazingly nice people running this firm. Apolline and Nicolo were so nice. Lovely greeting, safety paperwork completed and full instructions on how to use a boat provided. We hired for 4 hours and saw more than enough of Lake Como!! Absolutely awesome experience. Highly recommend this experience and this company.

The Rent a Boat location is at the end of the promenade next to the Beach club. Call ahead to reserve or you will be disappointed.
