We really enjoyed our 4 our cooking class followed by dinner. Our chef was marvelous. She taught us how to prepare our 5 course meal and made it both fun and a great learning experience. We would recommend ItCooking to anyone that wants to learn first hand about authentic Italian cooking.

Italia se vive de verdad en la Toscana. Fue sin duda la mejor parte de nuestro viaje. Tomamos los dos días y la opción de cocinar para cenar. Llegamos y el paisaje es increíble, con mucho menos calor que en la ciudad. El pueblo de Imprunetta además es muy pintoresco. Llegamos a Villa Saladini, Marcos nos fue a recoger a la estación de trenes y el lugar es maravilloso. La casa muy antigua está perfectamente condicionada para una estadía agradable. Perla y Marco se encargan que no te falte nada. Sobre las clases, muy dedicadas y preparadas, con excelentes materiales, además de Nicola nuestro chef, que fue muy simpatico con nosotros. Es una experiencia totalmente recomendada.
Italy is really living in Tuscany. It was without a doubt the best part of our trip. We took the two days and the option to cook for dinner. We arrived and the scenery is amazing, with much less heat than in the city. The town of Imprunetta is also very picturesque. We arrived at Villa Saladini, Marcos went to pick us up at the train station and the place is wonderful. The very old house is perfectly conditioned for a pleasant stay. Perla and Marco are in charge that you do not lack anything. About the classes, very dedicated and prepared, with excellent materials, in addition to Nicola our chef, who was very friendly with us. It is a totally recommended experience.

Our family of four had the best time with Guiditta. She was talented, funny and most of all, an instructive teacher to us. My two adult daughters and 20 year old granddaughter enjoyed the session so much. Cooking in a Tuscan farmhouse made the experience all the more authentic, instead of being in a stainless steel kitchen. Guiditta accommodated our special requests and made us feel so welcome. And enjoying the fruits of our labor was pretty special, too.

We thoroughly enjoyed our cooking class at the historical villa in Impruneta. We actually got a private lesson with Giuditta because no one else signed up for our time slot. It was fabulous. She explained everthing so well and made it look easy. All our dishes were delicious, and it was so nice sitting in the garden at the villa with the olive trees around, eating our creations and sipping wine.
We would recommend to anyone who likes to dabble in the kitchen!

This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip! We did not select a meal ahead of time, so Guiditta picked the menu-fresh tomato sauce, lasagna (homemade pasta of course) and tiramisu. These are recipes with which we are familiar, but Guiditta incorporated our preferences into her recommendations. She shared many techniques that we continue to use at home. The kitchen was clean and organized-all ingredients on hand, but not prepped. We were guided through the recipes, but the class was hands on for all of us (3 people). Guiditta was pleasant, patient and professional. We learned a lot and enjoyed getting to know her. Afterwards we ate in the garden and discussed the recipes we had prepared-Guiditta reviewed the recipes and noted adjustments we had made.It really was a wonderful experience!

We had a wonderful 2 days of cooking lessons with Chef Giuditta!
We had previously only planned to have one lesson but the first session was so good that we asked Giuditta if we could have one more lesson with her, to which she kindly agreed.
We learnt how to make Gnocchi with pesto, fresh pasta (made into Lasagne, Fettucini and Angel Hair), risotto, biscotti, meat sauce, bechamel sauce and even learnt recipes for traditional Italian food that we did not know of before, within just 2 lessons (3-4 hours each)!
Giuditta is passionate about her Italian heritage which allowed us to learn so much about Italian food and history as well. She was patient and detailed in her demonstrations and teaching, which made the pace of learning manageable and easy to follow. She also went out of her way to help us find the appropriate wines and ingredients, even staying back after the dinner to revise the method and ingredients with us so that we will remember it well and answering any questions we might have. Her lessons are practical, reproducible, and we learn may simple techniques and "grandma's tricks" that made a whole lot of difference to the authenticity and quality of the dish. Giuditta is a purist of Italian cooking but very pragmatic and sincerely helpful. She is a delight to learn from , and so much fun !
Not only that, she is both friendly and personable which makes the whole lesson thoroughly enjoyable and captivating. We would definitely recommend taking on more than one lesson with Giuditta!

Our family of five attended a pasta cooking class at the Villa Saladini. We made three different pastas and sauces including lasagna. Our chef/instructor Giuditta was wonderful. She was very personable, fun, patient and a wonderful chef. This was by far the best meal we had in Italy and we made it ourselves (with lots of help.) We can't wait to try the techniques at home. I would highly recommend ITCooking and Giuditta. Best day ever!!

Four of us -- two novice and two skilled cooks -- joined by four fellow travellers, had a wonderful time cooking, learning and eating! Our chef instructor, Giuditia, made this a memorable experience.
