Brilliant had the Relax Delux Package
Two main highlights were the massage of this package we had Kasia and Andre and they were both amazing. I wish we had booked for longer.
Then we did the Anglo - Irish baths which was super too.
Great thing was not too many people, and wonderful facilities.

We had 1 afternoon in Zurich and opted to spend it relaxing at the baths. They felt so luxurious especially after a full day of traveling. Would highly recommend upgrading to the Roman bath experience. Bring your own shampoo to shower after the baths since that did not appear to be available. Also would recommend to bring flip flops or shower shoes to wear when moving between baths.

Finally we have redeemed our vouchers for thermal bath day admission to the Hürlimann SPA plus herbal something massage of 25 min. The first damper was at the reservation which I had to make by phone because the online booking system constantly displayed red error messages despite correct handling.
I was informed that the prices have been increased in the meantime and we would have to pay 2 x 11 CHF accordingly on the day of the spa visit. Actually, as a voucher owner, I don’t care if a company raises its prices because my voucher says 1 x daily admission without any reservation regarding price increases. Well - absolutely no desire for disputes and so surrender to fate.
Arrived at the Hürlimann area parking the car stopped - cost after a good 4 hours a whopping CHF 13.50.
But now for the essentials:
You enter the reception area and look at an impressive XXXL LED screen which shows film sequences of aerial photographs of Züri or nature. The two women at the reception unfortunately did not really exude hospitality and warmth but seemed rather stressed and briefly attached. When I wanted to settle what I saw as an outrageous price premium of 22 CHF with a 50 note, it was accepted with reproachful sounding words "You already know, however, that we will switch completely to cashless from 01.01.2025?!?" I said........uh No, I'm here for the first time but glad is not yet 1.1.2025.
The Welcome Desk or WELCOMING, which is so crucial for the subconscious evaluation of an overall experience (there is no chance for a second impression...) had the charm of a B
Ingenious is then the access to the thermal bath. One enters a long cave-like room illuminated with candlelight, in which a large rectangular fountain stands. The lapping water is supplied via two water pipes.
The mixed wardrobe is tiny, I thought this was a joke at first. Then we went to the showers where you can cleanse yourself with a pleasant peeling. Afterwards always follow the path marked with Roman numbers.
There are steam baths and various pools of different temperatures where you can relax and float wonderfully. Especially the Roman-Irish area has attracted us. We really liked the huge beer barrel wooden lids attached to the walls in the thermal bath. The tradition is beautifully upheld. Also on top of the rooftop pool it is nice if a bit narrow i.e. to get to the front you have to circle properly so as not to get caught in the outstretched feet of those already present. Reasonably uncomfortable . But you have a wonderful view of Züri. But beware of cold outside temperatures, the head cools down a lot in wet hair and the snuggling nose the next day is guaranteed. As read in other reviews, the noise level is sometimes quite high (reverberation in the walls?) and somehow does not fit to wellness & relaxation. There is also a veritable misplanning in the Emerald Bath which is supposed to be a place of silence. You lie there but hear through the open door frame the loud halligalle and screams/shrieks of those who walk through the rainbox path with cold steam shower and are startled.
We also found it strange that there were two young families in the thermal bath and the kids had diving goggles and diving rings with them and of course, as children do, are just loud and lively. Kind of inappropriate....there we would recommend the indoor pool visit.
Last but not least, an unpleasant fumble at the exit turnstile where you have to insert your chip tape and as in my case the message "lock occupied" always appeared. At the fourth attempt it worked - while the adorable lady from the welcome scene is already visibly annoyed calling out instructions for inserting the chip tape over the counter. Not really technically mature this machine.
@ Hürlimann Spa Mgmt: You are welcome to hire me and I will train your Welcome Desk Staff in the art of outstanding and above all ENTHUSIASTIC/FRIENDLY customer service. You'll continue to lose a lot of revenue otherwise.
Conclusion:
Reception/staff friendliness - Well
Architecture Ambience - Top
Noise backdrop - sometimes unpleasantly loud and not conducive to relaxation

We booked the Day Spa Hürlimann Relax offer. We've never been there before.
No explanation at the reception about the procedure - where the spa is and how dressed to be. In the booking email it says only you should appear showered and changed before the treatment there. Meaning, man should show up for treatment in wet swimwear. Totally illogical for me. We then travelled home without spa treatment, as we had already moved as written in the mail. The only excuse at reception: this is not really their standard, that customers are so poorly informed or not at all. Despite missing the first treatment, we can put on the wet swimwear again and enjoy the remaining two treatments. We didn't feel like it anymore...

The bathroom is fine. The lady with the dark long hair from the reception was extremely unlikable because rude because not guest-oriented. Noisy remarks are not welcome!

The uniqueness of these baths in a converted brewery was very cool. All of the straight couples making out excessively and grinding up on each other in the rooftop pool was very off putting.

Entering the Roman-Irish bath in the hope of relaxation and tranquility, you are quickly taught something better. The reception, designed with great skill and care, quickly gives way to reality: A deafening noise fills the air. People talk loudly and hastily in the steam baths as if they were in a busy market hall and not in a place of recreation. Even the noises from outside penetrate unchecked, robbing every single moment of calm of the opportunity to drop.
The water that promises to seem so welcoming is transformed into a source of noise. Instead of quiet relaxation, one finds oneself surrounded by loudly speaking guests who exchange experiences, regardless of the space and the mood around them. The corners that should invite you to linger are anything but comfortable – the seats are hard and uncomfortable and not exactly inviting you to relax.
The new basin, once known for its charm and eye-catching features, has lost its luster. The walls may shimmer with the architecture of bygone times, but the ubiquitous noise and hustle and bustle cloud all pleasure. Especially the rooftop pool, which promises a lot, becomes the scene of a strange comedy: Couples are seen everywhere showing off their affections – an unwanted distraction for anyone seeking peace and quiet.
Throughout the evening, the longed-for supervision remains entirely absent. The changing rooms are far too small, which increases the feeling of tightness and discomfort. And even the showers, intended as a feel-good moment, lack shower detergent – a serious drawback for the high price you pay here.
Those who come here hoping for relaxation and recuperation will be disappointed. Advertised as an oasis of calm, this Roman-Irish bath is in fact a place of turmoil where the word “relaxation” has no place.

Buyer beware. The spa offers NO refunds once you've booked a service--no matter what. Instead they offer "vouchers" that are good for 10 years or "you can try to sell them to someone" we were told. : - /. When you book a service it's considered a voucher toward that service. After some horrible customer service exchanges prior to our trip and some concerns about the bad reviews we read about long wait times, crowds and group nudity-- my husband and I ended up having a great experience at the spa. We were there September 6-8, 2024. The roof top pool is great--I mean GREAT, expecially at night. We also did the Roman Irish Spa ritual in the morning (in bathing suits and we didn't run into any group nudity) and we loved all 10 stations. (a note: the full body scrub is no more the self-applied clay or chalk that is showered off after a few minutes). Everything is clean. We also booked a Moi and Toi treatment. It was ok but not really worth the price of almost $500. The private room was nice. The snacks were ok. The milk bath kinda nice. The massages were 3 star. (We also felt booted out of the room immediately after the massage) I'd say pass on it. The roof top pool and Roman/ Irish ritual were way more affordable and worth it. If you're staying at the adjacent B2 Hotel--you can get special pricing on the spa facilities--so check with the front desk before you pay full price at the spa.

My daughter paid for me as a birthday treat and what a treat it was. Absolutely loved the Roman Irish experience which is adult only and peaceful. The other side of the spa allows kids and that was noisy. We roof top spa was very busy but a lovely experience with good views of Zurich. We had cocktails in the roof top bar. Left feeling very relaxed.

Although I'm not really the SPA type, I gave myself this gift on a particular day. Online Reservation worked, the staff at the entrance helpful and friendly. The rooms were all clean and cared for, despite I felt very little privacy in the changing rooms and the impossibility of hanging more bulky jackets. The smell of chlorine is also quite intense, as is the noise of water pumps in certain tanks. I also gave myself a ginger and honey massage, the operator was very gentle, discreet and kind and the massage very relaxing. The swimming pool on the terrace is a bit overrated, let’s say it was not what most impressed me. I really liked the herbal sauna and the pools of the course. The emerald bathroom was flooded with kids and moms, and I gave it up. The parking quite expensive (15 francs). I would like to go back in the evening, to see the environments lit up differently and to find a little more tranquility. Excellent prohibition to use phones and take photos. In my opinion, the volume of the music could also be a bit louder.

Hello from Canada!
I was wondering if there is any age limits for using this beautiful spa?
My kids are 10 and 15 and I am planning to visit this lovely spa facility while we are visiting Zurich in summer.
Thank you.

Bonjour,
Est-ce que quelqu'un sait si les bains sur le toit sont fermés lorsqu'il pleut où lorsqu'il fait mauvais temps ?
Merci :)

Does this place provide secure lockers to store valuables such as passports and phones, while people use the facilities. I’m a bit paranoid about my valuables getting stolen.
Skrevet 28. november 2019
Yes they have pretty decently large lockers which you need a 2 Frank coin to use.

Hello, does anyone know if kids under 7 are allowed?

Hello,
1. How much is the price for an adult to enter all facilities ?
2. Will it be open in 2020 January ?

Hi, Do you know the difference between Thermal Bath for 36 CHF and Irish Roman spa ritual for 60 CHF? What is included in Irish Roman spa that is not included in thermal bath for 36 CHF? Is rooftop pool included in 36 CHF fee? Thank you!
Skrevet 2. mars 2019
Included with the 36CHF is 2 indoor pools with jet areas, a steam room and the rooftop pool. Unlimited access to all. The 60 CHF Irish Roman spa ritual gets you the same, but also includes 7 other pools/steam rooms/shower scrub area which you have access to all day and can do numerous times. I highly recommend the Irish Roman Spa Ritual, it is well worth the money and is very relaxing!

Can I enter the thermalbad directly from the B2 hotel? Or they are two separate business and entrance? Thanks.
