Exceptionally beautiful ruins tucked away down off the main road.

Free entry and information points, plus it's clear to see it's very well taken care of.

Definitely worth a visit whilst in Pembrokeshire.

Stayed at the Lamphey Court Hotel next door and enjoyed a couple of walks around the ruins. Two walks as one was in pouring rain and one in bright sunshine! Free entry to the well kept grounds and interesting information boards around the ruins. Well worth a stroll round if you're in the area.

Enjoyed a short stroll from our hotel (Lamphey Court) to this fabulous venue. We were blessed with great sunshine but this is a real gem (and free) to visit & soak up some great history.

This ruined palace is most impressive. It is rather well-hiddeen but worth finding. there is free car parking at the entrance. Inside, I was immediately taken by the sheer size and scale of the Palace - so much for being a humble man of God eh. The living must have been lavish and about as comfortable as was possible back in the day. there is lots of information to read to really bring the place alive in your mind.
Something of a musy-see I feel

Well preserved bishop’s palace : good sense of the space. Only a very small chapel for a ‘godly’ man! Minimal signage / information. Currently free - if they start charging when the visitor centre reopens, they should spend some improving the explanations. Very quiet / peaceful on a sunny summer holiday Saturday. Spent maybe 30 - 40 minutes wandering around with 13yo daughter (who likes this sort of thing).

Fantastic little gem adjacent to Best Western Hotel and Spa. Small tree lined car park adjacent.

Due to Covid measures gift shop closed.

Free entry, side gate entry in lieu of through shop

A Cadw site that should introduce a nominal entrance charge

Lovely place to spend half an hour understand from another visit that they use it for wedding photographs

No need to book and free entry. Limited parking albeit we walked from Pembroke in a gorgeous day. There were some areas that had been roped off due to COVID, but the ropes were down on our visit which made for a better experience - we were the only ones there given it was late in the season so not an issue in any event. Some information boards to help with the visit.

Great insight into Welsh history. Cadw site and well maintained for an easy work around the former Bishop’s Palace
