My husband and I took a private sunset cruise with Tagus Cruises on Scarlett, their 40+ foot catamaran. It was perfect and everything we had hoped it would be ~ a beautiful evening enjoying Portuguese wine and snacks on the Tagus River as we took in the sights of Lisbon from a much different perspective. Our captain Francisco, and his first mate, Miguel, were awesome. They were both very personable and knowledgeable, and we appreciated all the history and information they shared about Lisbon and the monuments we passed. Plus, they were very focused on our general comfort and safety on the vessel, along with our comfort in feeling that we were safe. Undoubtedly, we were in very good hands. Communication (email and phone) before the cruise was excellent as well, and thank you to Catarina, Claudia, and Madalena for their work and coordination. In summary, we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Our cruise with Tagus was one of the highlights of our three week vacation in Portugal and Spain, and we wouldn’t hesitate in either sailing with them again or recommending others to do so.
