Birgir and his team have a good setup going, with their van as warm room to change and get ready before the dive.
We brought our own suits to Iceland, but used their weights and fins to save some travel luggage and personally I prefer wearing my own suit to make sure everything fits perfect in the icy water.
The way to the fissur is made on foot, crocs provided for easy travel and most importantly - they offer high quality wind-stopper dive ponchos for the walk over to and from the accesspoints, so you stay warm and protected until you get into the water.
Honestly, this was one of our highlights in Iceland - I might be biased because I'm a freediver - but if you are a freediver, this is the place to dive with :D
Given the nature of this attraction, it was not so crowded and we got some awesome pictures coming up - check them out at @mesapholis and @joel_sharks on insta!
Thanks Iceland Freediving!
