wow smashing track great team working hard all the time to ensure a great time sorry for the drifts and the rubbing, but rubbing is racing

So where do I start with this review? Staff eating as they are serving you, all the overalls are worn out and falling apart. The gloves stink and everything needs a good clean. I went into the toilet and it was disgusting. When I came out my wife was going into the Ladies, I told her not to bother. I thought I could put up with all of that if the track and karts were good. The Kart was quite quick but need money spending on it with splits in tyres etc. The worse thing was the wooden ramp, so bumpy it was almost un drivable. I have Karted a lot and never ever have i wanted a session to end but at Loughborough I was looking forward to the end of the session. Very very disappointed.

apesar de ter sido uma experiência divertida a higiene do local deixa muito a desejar. os fatos estavam completamente imundos e a cheira mal. Os carros podiam ser mais leves.. a condução muito cansativa e difícil pois a direcção era muitíssimo pesada.. para virar o volante era necessário quase as duas mãos de tão rijo que estava. ao fim de 15 minutos já estava cansada e só queria descansar. Chão por rampa terrível, muito saltos. funcionarios simpaticos. no final não deixou de ser divertido pela companhia não pelo local.

Visited last wknd having been before and was really looked forward to it...however, it's gone down hill and can see the owner and staff have given up which is a real shame.
As previous comments say the suits, track and karts are past it and can see there's no money being put back into the place due to it closing down.
Shows what happens when a business doesn't invest and remains stagnant... the track, suits and karts haven't changed in years so why would people want to return time and time again.

Visited F1K at the weekend with out Groupon vouchers.
For £18pp for 50 laps I thought it was good value for money. If I would of paid full price at £30 I would of been disappointed.
The jumpsuits wouldn't fasten, as there wasn't any Velcro on them. The gloves were all ripped and falling apart.
We noticed there was a sign on the notice board to say they were closing down. No wonder the staff weren't interested.
Anyway the track was great, our first time go karting and we really enjoyed it.
I would go again, obviously not here!

We had to call to amend our booking and get some informations and what we get was the man shooting at us, so rude and arrogant and even hung up on me when I ask for a name!
No help at actual place when arrived, wanted to charge you for everything, seems like money is number one priority for them! Not about people and reviews!
Rude, unhelpful, waste of time and money !

Not sure what all the bad reviews are about?
We went as a group of 5 as part of a groupon deal and were pleasantly surprised considering the poor reviews I had read.
Yes the race suits don't do up very well/at all but does that in anyway affect the time on the track? The staff on duty seemed friendly enough and answered any questions with no issues
All in all a good way to kill an hour at a reasonable price.

We went as a group of 8. I've been before a few years ago and can't believe how much its falling into disrepair after a few years. The place is dirty, dark and very scruffy. The vast majority of the overalls are falling apart and don't fasten up. The track has had it. The bridge is incredibly bumpy and literally shakes your kart and arms to a point where you end up slowing down just for a bit of comfort.
I consider myself an experienced driver, and driven a lot of circuits and Wymeswold track?? -- NEVER again. It needs pulling down and re-building. DON'T waste your money... unless you purely want a quick race and paying though one of the online voucher deals. Nottingham has the next nearest indoor track and it's new and nearly twice as big... Far better option.

I went here today with my parents and husband as a birthday present for my Dad. Upon booking staff were really friendly and helpful. Staff on the day were great too. We had half an hour out on the track. The track was really well laid out and we loved the bridge you could go over! In comparison with other karting tracks we've been to, this was by far the best and we will be returning. I highly recommend it

The whole place was dark and scruffy, the lady at the desk was rude and very unhelpful.
There was no where telling us we had to bring money to pay for the helmets and balaclava.
The safety brief was useless as nothing was relevant. The protective clothing we were given didn't even fasten up.
I wasn't sure who was staff as they all were sat there on there phones looking uninterested.
The lady spoke so fast telling us about the safety and asked if we had any questions to ask but walked off immediately without us even being able to ask a question!!
Then she sent us upstairs to get changed and left us there no knowing what to do for 20 mins.
Didn't guide us through the correct clothing or anything.
Very unhelpful rude staff.
Sort it out as this could be a good place.
But the go karting was fun but abit boring after a while cus quite small track so it's repetitive.

Hello, Im a Marshall at the track, yes they can I think, but if they are at a sutable height, if they are below they aren't able to compete in a race im affaid. :)
