It was sad to see the Owls and Harris Hawk and other birds in tiny cages, no room to fly about. The lemurs and raccoons again in very small cages right next to a large covered seating area playing the same music very loud, they looked utterly miserable not surprising having to listen to that all day. The rabbits had a big run but were shut in their cages, it was gone mid day, did someone forget to let them out? and there was lack of enrichment for them. The ducks were covered in green algae from from the pond which was just green and murky, it didn't look healthy at all. The reptiles were just stuck in small glass boxes, I'm no expert to have see that this falls far below welfare standards for all of these animals, they deserve better.
3/5 The play areas, rides etc are ok but a lot of them need updating and looks a little run down but having said that it completely goes over the head of a 2.5 yr old who absolutely loved the train ride.

Wonderful place.. we go every year and love it … take a picnic cos they’ve left the kids in charge of the cafe n it’s like an episode of Mr bean!!!

Was taken here as a very young child, was visiting the area with family and decided to take the children. Pre-schooler had the best time! He’s never been on rides before and went on all of them. Fed the goats and chickens, saw the other animals, played in the play areas and rode the train. I would say the cost is quite high and unsure if it is fully worth it. But considering he did go on the rides so much maybe, but not fully convinced.

A disappointing experience for what we paid. 4 adults and 3 children (one disabled) was over £120. Quite a few of the attractions inside the needed paying for too e.g. the diggers and ride on tractors. One of the ride on cars took the money and then didn’t work meaning a very upset small child.
There were not many animals to see and they didn’t appear that well cared for. We had to call while there to speak to a member of staff about the condition of one of the horses. It appeared to have very laboured breathing commonly associated with heave (a horse form of asthma). The dick pond/river had huge amounts of algae in it and all the ducks were covered in it. It did not look like a nice environment for them.
The food in the cafe was honestly awful. I’m not expecting a 5 star experience in a child’s adventure park but this food was not enjoyable at all. The jacket potato’s were rock hard and shrivelled. The baguettes were dripping in greasy cheese. Food also took ages to come considering what it was. The cafe was also dirty snd rundown looking.
The rides in the park were good but they didn’t have enough staff to have even one member of staff per a ride. Most rides were sharing one member of staff per 2 rides.
The overall experience wasn’t awful but I certainly wouldn’t recommend it and won’t be going back.

We had a great day at Pettits - can’t lie.
So much for little ones to do and even adults. We were able to go on all rides with our two year old and didn’t have to queue for most of them. Great variety of rides and the little train was a nice touch.
The petting area was a little sparse with a few goats and a horse but it was still enjoyable being able to feed them.
Loved the play parks jotted around and the little ones enjoyed the little tractor/jeep rides.
Very bright, exciting place to visit.
My only negatives would be that it does need a little TLC in places and secondly, minimal food outlets so defo bring a picnic. Other then that, fantastic day :)

Absolutely terrible experience came for daughters birthday only animals were goats and pigs and a horse sat down for lunch ordered waited for a hour after going and asking on 2 occasions once food came out was hard and cold and didn’t eat it only positive is the rides for the kids will not be returning

I've not visited many times as it such a small place and the roads to get there are narrow and winding. Once arrived the car park is a short walk down the road from the park so be prepared if you are bringing small children or wagons full of picnic bits! We buy our tickets online it's a small discount off gate prices. The playground is large and wooden and lots of fun for our daughter. She spent most of her time there. We looked about the animals just small pens with goats, rabbits, birds. We love the meerkats! The dinosaur jeeps are another favourite but do cost £1 extra a go so not too bad. The slides and sand area are fun but not many mats provided for the slides had to wait for some unruly children to return them while their parents said nothing.... The theme park area is ok has a few rides. Unfortunately the miniature train was having some repairs so wasn't working this time. Probably the best ride there but nvm. We went on the rollercoasters and had one particular grumpy female ride operator. She could try smiling it doesn't hurt. Also heard her moaning at some other staff members later that day... what a delight she was! The other staff were pleasant enough. We ate in the cafe had some loaded fried which were horrible quite honestly. I should have brought sandwiches but thought I'd save space in my bag this time and eat there which was a mistake! Chips were cold and rubbery and no forks in the cutlery area so used a plastic knife instead! My daughter didn't want to use the toilets onsite as it was noisy and overcrowded inside. Didn't notice any separate disabled facilities that would have offered a quieter toilet experience especially for autistic children who don't like too much noise. A.bit of a picky point I know but other places have quieter toilet facilities for this reason. Was given a receipt offering half price entry if we returned another day... I'll think about it, but will probably just go somewhere else. Quite a pricey day but I hope the money goes on looking after the animals.

Amazing day we had, so much included in the entry price. Rides, golf, parks, animals, play area, shows, train and more. We arrived at 10am and left at 4.45pm we had thr whole day of fun. Friendly staff and it was clean and tidy everywhere. Plenty of benches for picnics, we got array of cold treats from milkshakes, ice cream tacos and sundaes. Tasted amazing . We cant wait to come back

The children said" best day ever" and any places have been visited during holiday. We were all surprised by the amount of rides and the compactness of the site, we got there at 10 and left at 5 totally exhausted but very happy. Only extras were pet food and the arcade games but so much to do apart from that , as many rides as you like on different rides from the normal, so many picnic tables and benches you didn't have to hunt for anywhere to eat at . picnic taken but café looked nice and ice cream parlour has a big menu.
car park big and just a short walk from entrance but road very quiet, one car going in and one out .
plenty of play areas and "beach" sand pit lovely.
it was a delightful day and will go again.

We took our two year old granddaughter and the entry price for her was still nearly £20 as was myself and the wife so took a big knock before we got in.
The park itself is brilliant for kids with so many rides and plenty for them to play on and the goats are hilarious,loads of slides and climbing around so you're kids will love it.
Now, TAKE A PACK-UP as you will get robbed big time,£2:80 for a small bottle of coke and the ice cream was two and a half dollar for the smallest piece of cream.
There is no need to rob people as the entry price is high and the pics and key rings you get from the caterpillar rollercoaster were nearly £8 EACH, come on wtf, that is ridiculous.
Great place for the kids but the people who own/run the place are so greedy so we will not be going again even though she loved it, probably find a good play park and she would have enjoyed just as much.

Is this more of just a kids park or would 2 young adults (23 and 27) enjoy visiting too? I love rides and animals, and my boyfriend and I are both big kids at heart!

The rides are very young, aimed at 2-7 type age range. I enjoyed it with my son but not sure id go without him.
