My family and I had a wonderful tasting and tour at Chateau Giscours. Ewa provided us with an enthusiastic tour of the chateau and property along with a trip to the vineyard and their wine making facilities. The tour was followed by an informative tasting of some of the chateau's best recent vintages. Ewa took the time to provide us with detailed overview of the property's history, how they make their wine and what distinguishes Chateau Giscours from their peers. Thank you for a great time.

Magnifico. Abbiamo fatto un tour degustazione accompagnati da Eva, guida professionale, attenta, simpatica e molto coinvolgente. Vino, castello e cantina di altissimo livello, qualità prezzo imbattibile.

We did the La Vie à Giscours private visit, which costs 60 euros a head - and it’s worth every euro.
Greeted by our charming and bubbly guide Eva, we started with a tour of the large park and woods, by golf cart - just as well - stopping to see the redwood and sequoias, along with the great views of the château across the lake. We continued, visiting the farm and seeing the collection of rare breed cows and sheep, the cricket pitch (!) and the vegetable garden, finishing in front of the cellar.
After a look at the cellar, we went inside the château itself where the wines awaited us - La Sirène 2015, Giscours 09 and 10. We tasted them blind, in perfect conditions (comfortably seated, with the bottles at the right temperature). All three were impressive.
It’s rare to have a proper tasting inside the château itself, so for a wine nerd like me this is already a great reason to go, but this visit is one of the rare ones we have done which is really suitable for children.
Highly recommended and a big thank you to Eva for looking after us so well.

Une visite magique faite par Eva, qui a pris le temps de nous expliquer la vinification, de nous raconter l’histoire du domaine, les valeurs et les spécificités du château Giscours…. On recommande les yeux fermés….

Nach 4 Jahren waren wir wieder auf Château Giscours. Wir wurden in der Wein-Boutique sehr nett bedient. Hier gibt es verschiedene Jahrgänge des „Ch. Giscours“ und des Zweitweines „La Sirène de Giscours“ zu kaufen.

We did the private tour with cheese and charcuterie board. Ewa was delightful, showing us the vineyards and cellar and explaining the history of the chateau. The wines are extremely good and the cheese board matched the wines really well. At no time did we feel rushed.
It’s not the cheapest experience but if you’re in Bordeaux you may as well treat yourself!

Had a private tour and our guide was Ewa. She was passionate, very knowledgeable, and lots of fun. Was nice to learn about the history of the region, the vineyard and the family. Had a great tasting with the highlight being the 2010 wine. Highly recommended.

Wonderful wine tour and tasting experience for my husband’s birthday! We had a private tour around the château, vineyards and winery. Our guide Ewa was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and kept the tour very interesting for a super personalised experience:) we finished the tour with a wine tasting, and the highlight was definitely tasting the Château Giscours 2009, which was one of their best vintages. We highly recommend the experience!

We had a fabulous tour and tasting by Ewa. My husband is a sommelier and had many questions for her, which she answered with great details about the vintages, wine making process and the soils. The wine was elegant and a great representation of Margaux. You must visit here while in Bordeaux!

My husband and I booked a private tour as we did for five wineries in the area. This was by far the best one on the list. The winery was beautiful even in March. Our guide Ewa was fantastic and very knowledgeable about their wonderful wines and the wine making industry in the region. Our visit was so relaxed and not rushed. Make sure this one is on the list and make a reservation for the tour.
