Out of this world experience, in the middle of nowhere, just you-the-sea experience. I went with Gustav's Guest house and 5 other divers. Just us. The reef. The sea. Nothing else. Sharks, tuna, turtles, and the largest pod of dolphins (100+) ever, leaping, jumping, surfing our wake. The currents can be strong - so negative entry required - and it is weather dependent. But overall a fabulous experience and some trule wonderful coral.

We dove with Gustav's Place Resort - 2 days, 1 night. Fantastic experience - not only the diving which was divine but the whole package. Our first liveaboard as a family and definitely recommend Gustav's! The dive masters are outstanding and the crew safe, fun and knowledgeable.

Probably the best snorkelling that i have ever done in my life took place from an official tour boat visiting part of the Apo Reef. There were turtles in the sea and the aqua waters themselves were clear and limpid.

It was year 2017. Our team from the office with the other officemate going to Apo after our office hour from friday to sunday. It was very very beautiful place and 1 of the most biggest reef in the world. The place is so amazing. The pristine sand and the cool water blue, deep of it is too many creatures of different sea corals and fish. You can go to the light house take some pictures from above also have free dive and snorkeling. Itwas very fun and memoreable place to us.

Went with "Apo Reef Club" Resort, owner Michael Roos let the expedition, and it was a great experience. A long way to go, but worth it.

Je suis allé plonger trois journées sur Apo reef avec deux différentes structures. Cet endroit à la réputation d être le second meilleur endroit pour plonger aux Philippines. Pour en avoir fait beaucoup dans ce pays, je pense qu il n en est rien. Cet endroit devait être magnifique il y a quelques années, mais le corail est mort au dessus de 15 m et j ai su par ailleurs qu il y avait beaucoup de pêche illégale. Il reste néanmoins de gros pélagiques (barracudas, tortues, thon à dent de chien et des grosses varangues sur certains sites) Cet endroit n a donc plus rien d un parc national, à part les taxes dont on ne comprend pas bien ce qu ils font tant la maintenance sur l ile semble abandonnée. Ils disposent d une vedette rapide en cas d accident de plongée pour rapatrier les plongeurs en cas de problème. J en parle, car nous avons eu le cas de figure.

我參加了兩天一夜共6潛的tour去Apo Reef潛水，在這裡看到了鯨鯊和一大群拿破崙魚。珊瑚的情況不是特別好，聽說是受到前幾年的颱風影響，正在恢復中。不過這裡很有機會看到大魚（甚至鯨鯊），所以仍然十分推薦！

The best dive club in Philippines ! We spent 2 days on Apo reef with Sublayan Divers and it was the best part of our time in Philippines, we were only 3 divers with our guide Endoy, which is so kindly. We did 6 wonderful dives (around 40meter of visibility, the best underwater visibility that we had in Philippines) , the food was so good, and the night in the tent on the Apo reef sand was so fun. Our only regret at the end of the trip is to have chosen the 2 days trip instead the 3 days, so do not hesitate and ask for 3 days trip :-) that will allow you to do 2 time the early morning dive (which is the best dive) and 1 late afternoon dive.
For info, the dive shop is in the Wency Amor Hotel, which is really good if you need to sleep at Sablayan, one night before/after the dive trip. We paid 800PHP for the basic room, which included a fan and private bathroom and shower.

Nous avons passé 2 jours sur Apo Reef avec Sublayan Divers et ce fut la meilleure partie de notre séjour aux Philippines, nous n'étions que 3 plongeurs avec notre guide Endoy, qui est très gentil. Nous avons fait 6 plongées merveilleuses (au moins 40m de visibilité, le mieux qu'on ait eu aux Philippines), la nourriture était tellement bonne et la nuit en tente sur le sable d'Apo reef était vraiment géniale. S'il devait y avoir un regret à la fin du voyage est d’avoir choisi le trip de 2 jours au lieu des 3 jours, alors n'hésitez pas et demandez un voyage de 3 jours :-) qui vous permettra de faire 2 fois la plongée tôt le matin (qui est la meilleure plongée) et 1 plongée en fin d’après-midi.
Pour information, le club de plongée se trouve à l'hôtel Wency Amor, ce qui est vraiment bien si vous devez dormir à Sablayan une nuit avant / après le voyage de plongée. Nous avons payé 800PHP pour la chambre de base, qui comprenait un ventilateur et une salle de bain privée avec douche.

No cell site here, perfect get away! but you have to be ready for there is no supply of fresh water. I have never seen so many stars in my life when the night came. It was a cloudless night when we stayed there, could almost fall asleep on the sand under the stars. it was awe-mazing!!!

Just only 4 km from town..
Wow the Sunsets were Amazing
And the Star Gazing was Amazing
It's A hidden Gem ..

Would like to know how much is the permit for foreign diver? Is this per day or for all days of diving? What if the diver comes back after 2 or 3 days? Will it require another payment for the permit? Thank you.

Hi all, I have reservations booked on Puerto Galera, and want to do a full day dive at Apo Reef. I wonder if I shouldn't cancel those and try to stay closer like Busuanga Island, or another place? Can someone please advise on the best place to stay at moderate expense, but comfortable and with as minimum a trip to and from the reef? Many thanks in advance! I am planning to dive around Dec. 3, 4 or 5 in 2018.

Hi your best bet is to stay in Sablayan Occidental MINDORO
There is 5 dive operations here in Sablayan Going to APO Reef offering 1 day 3 dives or 2 day 6dives prices very but as APO Reef is closest to Sablayan about
2-3 hrs in Boat 1 way
This is the most cheapest way
Accomadation here around 1000 pesos a night Have Fun

Hi, probably it has been ask before but I can't find something orgenize... what are the options to dive in apo reef - where to sleep, from where to take a toor, etc. Im in a backpacking budget and I understand it is advisable to orgenized as a group. I'm hoping to do at least 2 diving days... thanks in advance for the answers, and whom would like to join me (in about 4-7 days), it will be my pleasure.
