Had the most amazing time. Third time visiting and far from our last. Jess our tour guide is just the nicest and clearly loves the alpacas (and chickens). We already miss Leon, Prince, Cappuccino, Herbie, Bradley and the rest. The alpacas love a cuddle and occasional spit. They also sell little keepsakes and wool. A must do if around the area 🦙

Excellent introduction by the staff explaining in great detail all about alpacas and also what to be aware of and how to handle them when walking.
A fab, fun family time in the outdoors/ fresh air - can highly recommend this activity well worth a trip - our family of 4 all thoroughly enjoyed it!

Absolutely loved our alpaca experience. Luckily picked a day when the sun was shining and we both thoroughly enjoyed meeting Leon and Whiskey.
Jess was our guide and was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable.
Definitely take a pair of wellies if the weather is/has been bad, you won’t regret it.
The hot drink and shortbread at the end of the experience was a nice touch.
Would highly recommend it here.

A very well-organised and fun experience that was the ideal birthday treat for our 12 year old daughter. The farm is lovely and, despite being muddy that day, the toilet was spotless and the barn where we began and ended our trek was clean. The alpacas were great fun, all with their own personalities, and were very easy to handle. Kudos to our guides Jess and Abby who were good humoured, enthusiastic hosts, imparting knowledge about the animals and ensuring everyone had a good experience. At the end of the trek we were served tea and absolutely delicious homemade shortbread at no extra cost. There was plenty of opportunity to get to know the alpacas, take pictures, and even feed them.
A really good time had by all (and much better than a previous alpaca walk we attended).

Such a fabulous fun trek today with the gorgeous Herbie & Whisky. Our guide was Rosie who we can’t praise enough. She is so knowledgeable and there is nothing she doesn’t know about each individual alpaca. We learned so much from her. Our trek was finished off with a hot cuppa and the most scrumptious homemade shortbread biscuits. The perfect day. Can’t recommend enough.

Beautiful location and awesome experience. We are a family of four and I have two kids aged 11 and 7.
The Staff were extremely knowledgeable and the location is stunning set in the Derbyshire countryside.
Our 90 Minute Alpaca Experience was perfect from start to finish and the Alpaca's are beautiful animals and we learned so much from the staff about them.
Thoroughly recommended.

Great experience. Guide (sorry there were so many alpaca names, I actually forgot yours) was so knowledgeable and informative in a jovial manner. Alpacas were very well cared for and very friendly/easy to handle. The walking trail was perfect and we got to see all the other alpacas on the farm.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting

Excellent experience, well worth a visit. Rosie our guide was very friendly and informative. The al pacas are well behaved and a pleasure to walk.

We had a fantastic time at Brackenfield Alpacas this December for a hen do of 6.
The ladies greeted us cheerily with the cutest pack of Alpacas ever. Colourful bow ties on and looking their best, even in the grey weather.
Our guide (I'm sorry I'm useless with names) was brilliant and answered all our questions before and during the walk. We were each leading an alpaca and a few swaps to suit personalities kept us all entertained for the activity.
We especially enjoyed the Alpaca "boops" and feeding then at the end of the walk.
I would 100% recommend this activity to anyone, we had a fantastic time and would love to return again.
